My wife and found the Dublin Alehouse Pub on Yelp. We come here all the time, usually once a week, and we would not come here at all if the service or food/drink were bad. Even the first time we came, we were treated as valued customers and have become happy regulars since.
The food is always good, especially the fish and chips which are by far the best around. They've got a chicken burger ground with care with flavor galore and a corned beef sandwich that is my go-to hot sandwich anywhere in town.
The drinks I've had are always a generous pour and the beer is always cold and fresh. They regularly have live entertainment, usually bands playing the old standard Irish tunes and its always a blast to sing along while hefting a mug.
Obviously I can't guarantee that you will agree, but the Dublin is our favorite Friday Night (and occasionally Wednesday or Thursday) place-to-be.
Third visit and overall it was a poor experience. This time we went mid-week and the place only had a couple tables with customers. Unfortunately even though the server didn't have a lot to do getting a refill, check or any attention was difficult. Even the food was under-cooked a bit. We eventually gave up on our server bringing any kind of refills and had to get up from the table to find her and our check. It will be some time before we visit this place again.
Review Source:Of course when you go out on St Patricks Day to an Irish resturaunt you expect to wait. Â When we arrived at the resturaunt we were greeted with a smile and a courteous welcome and was told that we had a 30 min wait for a table, very acceptable for Patty's Day. Â After about 90 mins and constant persistance on our part we were seated. Â After receiving our seats we waited an additional 20 mins before going to the waitress station and asking if we were going to at least receive drinks. Â Finally we get a waitress and order, upon the arrival of our food I realized that the corn beef and cabbage that I had ordered was far from what my Irish family considers corn beef and cabbage. The corn beef was a block of steak and the cabbage was green. Â I informed the waitress that this was not acceptable and her response was thats how we do it here. So to sum things up I will not be returning to this establishment any time soon. Â I paid for a meal that I was unable to eat.
