I was staying nearby and craving some Mexican! After ordering chicken fajitas I was presented w the usual chips and salsa! The salsa was pretty tasty with a slight kick! The fajitas were out in a timely manner accompanied by refried beans, guacamole etc! Â The chicken was a bit disappointing, Â looking dried out w the peppers and onions barely recognizable. The sizzling skillet was probably good yesterday! Which is when I think it was originally cooked!
Review Source:Food is ok... Love the salsa, Â very fresh with plenty of cilantro! Â In fact, it's one of the main reasons why we go there. Â The menu is typical, nothing special.
The restaurant is huge, and can accommodate large parties with ease. Â Food arrives quickly, which is nice.
However, you have to get past the service. Â We eat here weekly (addicted to the salsa) Â at least, but tho we tip well, and aren't complainers, the service ranges from downright rude to simply lackluster.
Out of a service crew of maybe 10-15, there are a couple of guys that don't have attitudes, and are very nice, but it's a gamble who you'll get.  Also, there is a good chance of your order getting messed up.  Sorry, just  the way it is.
Why do we keep going back? Â Not many other/better options....
2.5- for the area, you could find worse
Came here the other week with some co-workers for lunch.  I'm really trying my best  not to be a Mexican food snob, but it's pretty tough not to compare places out here to ones in Mexico/SD.
I'm not going to go into great detail, but this is your typical, run of the mill type Mexican joint.. Â Lunch and dinner combinations, enchiladas, burritos, etc..., it's not doing anything that really distinguishes it from other Mexican joints in the midwest.
I ended up getting a burrito, tamale and enchilada (#7). Â Not bad, but not great. Â It only set me back about $5, so that was pretty nice, but really, just a filler meal more than anything.
Overall- I wish I could get excited for Mexican food out here, I really wish I could. Compared to the other Mexican joint in town, this is a step up, but not anything to come out of the way for. Â At least the servers could speak Spanish.
Chuck Norris rating- Lion's roar
