Lincoln Square Pancake House

This place has the best fries ever! Unfortunately, when they do not have the thick cut steaks for a steak sandwich they ask if a philly steak sandwich is ok. Well sure, until it comes out cold and dry. After three bites I was about to choke and could not eat anymore. My nice dining companion could not eat all of her tenderloin, so I luckily had something else to eat. Unfortunately it was not crisp at all, and was yellow for some reason. If only they could make the fried tenderloin as crisp as those fries!

I've been here several  (about 10) times. I keep going back in hopes that it will get better. The breakfast meals are good but never hot or warm. No matter how quickly the server delivers the food to the tables it has never been heated to the correct temperature. The food is served on cold plates, which does not help the situation. They will not microwave the food to warm it, they start over and you still get cold food. It is good when taken home and reheated. The sweet ice tea is wet, not sweet and no tea taste. The slaw is good. The buns for sandwiches are heavy and neither warmed or toasted. There is no consistency in the breaded tenderloin. One time it's good ( twice)and twice it's just edible. If their is a food or server problem, the manager(owner)??? will avoid you. Prices are good and portions are huge.

I can't believe no one has reviewed this incredibly awesome restaurant!  Everything here is so tasty.  I even talked to the manager about having a sample platter so you could get one waffle, one pancake, one biscuit...so you get the idea.  You just want a little taste of everything they offer.  We do the next best thing, with six in our family we all order something different and share :) Their sausage gravy and biscuits is to die for! They have the best hash browns.  Frying potatoes sometimes leads to mush, but they excel with just the right about of crisp, crunch outside and soft potatoes inside. The management is super friendly and makes a point of talking to the kids, not just the adults.  They are so welcoming.  I will go here again and again.
