Steak N Shake

Stopped in for a drink and pitstop, but ended up having a meal.  Sweetie had a royale (without cheese...) which was very good.  I had the Santa Fe burger, which was also very good.  Monterey jack cheese mixed with pico de gallo, tortilla strips on top, jalapenos... Tasty but not too hot (don't want to make anyone else in the car uncomfortable...)  I also had a Heath bar shake- very thick, tasty, and nice even on a cold night.

Steak N Shake is reliable if not superb, but this time the food was particularly good and the service was excellent.  Made this leg of our trip pretty fun.

Good, quick service,  but the food wasn't that great.  Had a chicken sandwich.  Guess I should have had a steakburger.

Bergers are great, fries were fresh and hot, milkshake was delicious, and service was surprisingly quick. Very affordably for a quick stop Berger joint
