El Rosal Bar & Grill

The only thing I liked about our party of 7's visit was that we were seated quickly. ( This was because the place was nearly empty on a Sunday evening.

The service was fair. We received our food, but had to request utensils. Drink refills were non-existant.

The food was fair. No one in the party was enthused about their order. Rather bland tasting all the way around.

WAY OVER-PRICED!! Three of our 7 combos were $12.00 or more. These same dishes can be had in 10 other Visalia Mexican restaurants for $7. - $9.

Two or three years ago I would have rated this place 3-4 stars, but the slide continues and is picking up speed. I won't be back to see the splash down!

I absolutely love El Rosal.  My family has been coming here for over 20 years and it always delivers.  The staff provides excellent customer service and always delivers delicious food.  

The owner Pablo has successfully transcended the restaurant atmosphere to a family first environment that makes you feel right at home.  He created this business with his family and continues to run it as a family establishment.  I love El Rosal and I will be a customer for life.

Used to love this place many years ago.. Last few times we have been there food was not great and the waitresses ignored us most of the time and the cockroaches crawling around on the back of the booth was not taken seriously by them either..   My husband and I drove from Hanford to Visalia to give them one more chance as they have always had good chicken fajitas.. This  trip was the same as far as the waitresses go..   But the cockroach that crawled across our table and on to my plate was the last straw!!!!!!!!   I squished the roach and handed it to the waitress as I asked for my ticket..  She did not seem shocked at all.. On the upside she didn't charge us for the meal we didn't eat!!!
