only sat here for the happy hour so didnt eat the food. From the past experiences on the food its like any other bar food. Nothing special. But when you drink its bad ass! Im giving this place a 1 star because of how slow the damn service here is. Listen i dated a waitress before so i know how it is to be swamped and stressed out by customers wanting their food or drinks. So i am very patient when it comes to this. We sat in the patio area and we were the only ones there so that also passed my mind that it might be slow. But it took 15 mins for someone to come out. And in the 10 min mark i went inside and tried to order from the bar tender. She said sorry you have to order from the waitress. But i can start making your drink now if you want. I was like "yea". Went outside and sat back down and said the drinks should be coming any minute. Its being made as we speak. Waited, waited and then the waitress came out just to mention the drinks are on the way. WTF! ok sat down, and another 5 mins passed and then the drinks came. Listen the bartender and the patio door and we sat right outside the patio door are no more then 10 steps away. so its not like a long ass trek. OK so the drinks came, and i felt like i had to order one right away because of the delay. But i laughed it off and said to myself "nah it cant happen again" well it did. shit so for the 3rd drink i walked in and told the bartender that i need to order from you because this lady is just to damn slow. Keep in mind an hour had already passed and i was only on my 2nd drink. It was a shot of whiskey so even after an hour im not even remotely buzz'd. She said the same thing. Ok then i said please have her come out there. She did about 3 mins later and i ordered a 3rd shot. Friend called and she wanted a glass of wine. Told the waitress after i walked in to place my order. she said no problem. Friend came, we sat and im not kidding on this, waited 15 mins and nothing came out. i ordered this drink while our friend was finding parking at the tyler mall and anyone whos been there knows its not an easy place to find parking in the evening. So i walked in there and told whoever was in the counter to close out my account now and cancel that order of wine. of course as soon as i said that they gave me my wine. I said to them "listen i dont care what you do with that glass of wine but im not taking it and diff not paying for it" closed out my account and went to eat sushi. As you see by this long ass rant it still bothers me. If you're busy its ok. i understand but Ms. bartender dont tell me to wait for my server. Just give me my order and have her ring it up. Like any other bar who cares about pumping out the liquor. or this bad taste in the mouth will be passed on to other customers. And your rating on this location will get lower then what it is already.

I ate there during lunch. The server, Scott, was so great about getting everyone's food and drinks as quickly as possible due to the time constraint. I absolutely loved it!

Better fire grills and wok places then this place. Mongolian beef was good, but the side veggies were more of the broccolini stumps versus the florets. Bring a flash light to dinner because the dimmed lighting is super dim. Its nice to see the person you came to dinner with. Our server top P.O.S, our hostess top notch-should have given her the tip. First visit, last visit!

My friend and I came to this place last night. The place had a 20-minute long wait that actually took 35 minutes. We were greeted with a cheery and pleasant server, who later disappeared during the course of our meal without notice, and replaced by a "not-so" pleasant waitress. We ordered the artichoke dip, calamari, and coconut shrimp for appetizers. For our main course, we ordered the shrimp scampi with lobster sauce, and for dessert, we got the chocolate chunk "E"-cookie.

DO NOT make a mistake of ordering the artichoke dip! It had a bitter after taste and the chips were greasy and tasteless. It was gross! However, the calamari and coconut shrimp were delicious. The "E"-cookie which is their version of the famous BJ's Pizzookie was also great.

Overall, you can get better food and better service elsewhere for cheaper.

I've been a long time Elephant Bar fan, they've always done me right and price was fair.

They recently changed their menu's rather drastically. Raised prices, cut portions and eliminated many options. Food selection, and quality is on the road to Applebee's now and I just can't have that.

I talked to the manager and he expressed dismay at the changes as well but is following orders from corporate.

Bummer, EB was one of my favorites. I wont be back.

The Seared Ahi Tuna Salad is excellent here!! I enjoy a few cocktails with my girlfriends here, the ambience is perfect and sets that relaxing tone after a long week. The mai tais are refreshing and desserts are decadent! The customer service at the Riverside and Montclair restaurants are as expected, very friendly and courteous. The Riverside restaurant however are very informative with their specials and often recommend popular drinks based on our taste. They are fun and make our visits all the more pleasant.

I come here all the time. The Sirloin Steak Sandwich is always delicious! The Jambalaya and the Chicken Marsala are good, but not fantastic. Tonight I tried the Ahi Tuna Opener. It was pretty disgusting. It was flavorless, the texture was odd, the sauce was icky, the vegetables looked wilted, and it was not evenly cooked. But the customer service was great! Our waitress let me send the Ahi back, free of charge, and let me order the Marsala instead. She was very courteous. It was a little slow, but she looked busy (not like she was standing around doing nothing) and was always there to fill up our drinks.
The best time to come back is for the lunch specials, which are a few dollars cheaper than the dinner specials and not that much smaller. It's a good restaurant, just don't get the Ahi! We tried the Creme Brulee, which was also pretty good.

I love this place. Well my whole family does. We've been here quite a few times and my kids always order the chicken strips with mac and cheese and I've had their sandwiches, fish dishes, and it's all been very good. The only thing my Husband didn't like from here was the Mongolian beef dish.

I must say that I do frequent the EB regularly, normally the MontClaire location. The seating is always slow, but once you get past that the service on the dining room floor is quick and efficient , the bar is nice but the day bartender gets overwhelmed easily...but still a nice guy and means well. Now the reason for this review is I recently met an old friend/work associate for lunch at the Tyler street location, we were seated quickly and our server (Dude with great long hair) OMG he was excellent, he made sure we had time to review the menu, but was not pushy, he made sure our beverages stayed filled all throughout the meal. Easy on the eyes and not full of himself, my female counter part was very impressed with his level of professionalism.
So we will be back to enjoy the EB in Riverside very soon.

Service was good, The special drink was sangria, with the pieces of fruit in the glass. This was adequate. I had soup that was ok and a salad the wasn't as special as it should have been. The only reason I would return is for the desserts. We shared the trio and they were great.

I went to Elephant Bar on a Wednesday night for a early Valentine's Day dinner since I have to work on Valentine's day.
It wasn't crowded at all, so we were seated immediately.

Customer Service was fantastic. Our server was Kevin. He was very friendly, fun, and courteous. He took great care of us.

Food was on point.
I got the [[ Korean BBQ steak and Lobster. ]]
I like my steak medium rare and Kevin warned me that he'll do his best to let the chefs know, but since the Korean BBQ steak is marinated and sliced, sometimes it's too thin to cook to medium rare. It's usually done medium well. I appreciated the warning, but the steak came out just how I like it. (But if it's on a busier night, I don't think they would have the time to pay that much attention to detail to one customer's order.)
Lobster was pretty good. Better than I had expected.

My date ordered the [[ Market Cobb Salad ]] (Yes, my man ordered a salad while I ordered a steak.) I had a couple bites of his salad, and it was pretty scrumptious. It's definitely a good size. It may even be a meal and a half for me.

Dessert: [[ Ultimate Chocolate Indulgence ]]
A gluten-free, flourless dark chocolate cake, mixed with hints of coffee flavor. Topped off with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, nuts, and strawberries. MUST TRY. It was delicious! The slight bitterness of the dark chocolate balances out the sweetness of the dessert.

I usually enjoy happy hour here after work, its awesome, I like that it ends at 7pm . The coconut shrimp is addictive and the mozzarella bruschetta was surprisingly delicious. Only ever sit at the bar and service is usually good. I've also tried the grilled ham & turkey focaccia sandwich and i enjoyed it very much. The decor is fun, safari themed , geared towards families and young ones.

Meh. I wasn't really impressed with Elephant Bar.

I got this chicken dish (I don't remember the name) but it came with vegetables and brown rice, and honestly it really wasn't worth it at all.

I also got a garden salad before my meal and it was crappy.

I think next time I'll try their barbeque or one of their Asian dishes and maybe that will change my mind.

You seriously can not beat the happy hour at Elephant Bar.
$4 chicken strips.
$4 mai tais and mojitos.
I am only reviewing for bar. Not the regular bar restaurant.
I have had nothing but good service in the bar.

This was my first time at the Elephant Bar. The poor service comments from others appeared to be very true.

I checked in, gave the girl my name and asked how long would the wait be for a table of 7. She wrote down my name, gave me the block w lights and never answered my question. About 10 minutes goes by, the block lights up and I'm being escorted to a small both for two-four ppl. The little girl wrote me down as "Ruben" party of 2. Tracy party of 7/Ruben party of 2. Whatever.. I sit back down then the block goes off again for the right reason this time.

I get seated and about 15 minutes rolls by before I'm even acknowledged. The nice girl apopligizes and proceeds to take my drink order but I was perturbed by now. 3 waiters/waitresses working in a small area and no one thought enough to find out who is responsible for the table or at least ask-completely unsat for me.

Overall, even though after I complained the manager tried yo make it right by supplementing our meal with appetizers. I had to make it known to him I wasn't trying to get anything free I just wanted better service.

I will never go back for dinner to this place. My Road to Lahaina drink was very good so I'll go back for Happy Hour only.

We went to the AMC movies next door and decided to check happy hour at the Elephant Bar. The host greeted us as we walked in and he was very helpful and guided us to the bar. We found a table for two and perused the happy hour menus and things we going great. Then we waited...and waited...

We were seated near the waiters station so we saw the waitress several times. Well at least we saw her back several times. We never saw her so much as her look our way not to mention a smile or "I'll be with you in a minute." After over ten minutes of being invisible we decided to leave.

We live across town and are searching for a great happy hour.

***I am not a huge fan of Elephant Bar so I had low expectations going in; the service here was good and the dining area was clean and comfortable; the food though was similar to other Elephant Bar locations--not that good***

Elephant Bar is definitely not my favorite chain restaurant. I thought the one I tried in Burbank in the early 2000s was okay, but after one decent and then many subpar experiences at the Torrance location, I have kind of avoided this chain. This Elephant Bar is located next to the AMC theater and the Tyler Galleria. It is pretty similar to other Elephant Bars in terms of decor--it kind of has a faux Polynesian feel--definitely not the tiki experience of a Trader Vic's but definitely some similar design elements (but less of a kitschy place; the room is pretty straightforward and not too garish).

The menu hasn't changed since my last visit to the Torrance location several years ago. They feature a lot of the all-around-the-world cuisine you will find at sit-down family chain restaurants. You will also find a lot of wok fired Asian influenced dishes here.

I had the wood-fired ribeye with the jumbo prawns in lemon garlic butter. The wood-fired ribeye was not that thick, but it was probably a little thicker than what you would find at most chain restaurants. I asked for medium rare; it came out more medium (medium rare in some parts); it was still juicy enough. The steak though did not have the best flavor. It tasted of the fire too much and there was way too much pepper on it.

The jumbo prawns were pretty good. They were nicely cooked and they were moist and tender. The lemon garlic butter did not add that distinct of a flavor, but at least it did not make the prawns too greasy.

The sides were below average. The broccolini was fine in terms of texture--not too overcooked or undercooked. Unfortunately, it was quite bland. The garlic mashed potatoes were worse though. They were really dry and dense. They tasted like they had been sitting around (or were from the day before)--no moisture and not much flavor.

The price for this entree was high probably due to the expensive ingredients used. Most of their entrees though are about what you would pay at a T.G.I. Friday's, BJ's and so on (Elephant Bar might be a little more expensive).

Service was good. The hostesses were polite and welcoming while our waiter was friendly, polite and attentive. The food came out at a good pace.

As mentioned earlier, I am not a big fan of Elephant Bar and this location kind of confirmed my opinion. I thought the service was good, but you would probably be better off going with nearby P.F. Chang's over this one (there are mostly chains around this mall and movie theater); I have not tried the Yard House or T.G.I. Friday's yet (they are also around this mall).

This Elephant Bar is located in the area surrounding the Tyler Galleria, which has its own free parking lot; the restaurant is right next to the AMC theater. The lot is huge, but it might be difficult finding an open spot near the restaurant during peak times.

Decided to finally try out this spot. The drinks are good but no way in the category of good priced, not even for happy hour. The food is also good but in no way makes you impressed. Prices are not reasonable but the only thing that is good is the ambiance. Server was nice and even asks you if you want extras or options. Average restaraunt but for the price i'd expect more.

I've been a semi-regular of Elephant Bar after taking my mom there for her birthday years and years ago. The biggest perk to this restaurant is that the food is very eclectic... It's not something you will find anywhere else and there's so many options for whatever mood you are in.

My last visit to this location was pretty average. It took FOREVER to be greeted (probably 5 minutes at least). Our server was really sweet and answered any questions I had honestly. I love love love the tomato bisque here. I had the Pad Thai with chicken... It was just OK. It was missing that peanut flavor that I love so much, and it wasn't very spicy (which our server did tell me ahead of time).

Overall, I'll keep coming back to Elephant Bar when I'm in the mood for something different, but it's not on my top restaurants list. They do have an amazing happy hour and their drinks are really creative and delicious (the unique mojitos and French Pear martini come to mind).

If you're on a budget, I've found several coupons in the paper over the past months for all of their locations.

I am updating this review three years later...life has changed...I've been new places, seen new things, & the "boyfriend" in my previous review is now the "fiance".
With that said, I am dropping 1 star, not because I have been anything less than pleased, but because of new experiences I just think a 4-star review is more warranted.

We've been there quite a few times since I last wrote and the food has still always been quite delicious. I STILL typically get the Shrimp Platter because I think it's such a great deal. The last time we went, Matthew got the orange shrimp & he thought it was scrumptious. He says it will definitely become one of his "go-to" items for the future. I tried it and although I felt the shrimp was well-cooked and fresh, the orange flavoring was a bit too strong for my tastes...it was BAM! ORANGE! So, keep that in mind. Matthew still says that their mojito selections are some of the best he's ever had anywhere.

Last time we went we also got the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer and while it was decent, I don't know if I'd order it again, but I wasn't unhappy that I got it (and we certainly finished it).

All-in-all this is still a quality establishment in a fantastic location (right below the movie theater so you can drink then watch) and I will HAPPILY continue going!

Gina and I really like the food and service at the Elephant Bar in Riverside, but that was due past performances. Today was a terrible day for the Elephant Bar. We walked in at 11:30 AM and was sat in the bar. After several minutes of waiting around, we were finally greeted by "RayLene" who was apparently the bar keep and a part time waitress. We (Gina and I) ordered drinks, an appetizer, and our lunch. We quickly receive our appetizer, although Santo or Sancho shoved the hot plate of Spinach and Artichoke up against me. As always the appetizer was GREAT, but after a few bites the same server shoved our lunches in front of us. This is one of my biggest pet peeves; receiving your entree before you even finish the appetizer. Most restaurants recognize to wait until the appetizers are done before you (the waitress) place the entree order.

Now the ultimate gross thing happened, I grabbed my fork to enjoy my food and what do I see!.... A crusty chunk of debris on the fork. I received a second fork and saw another crusty glob on the fork (see my accompanying photo at http://bit.ly/A2VqWz ). When RayLene FINALLY returned to our table I displayed the forks to her. She giggled and laughed without an apology and handed me a new set of utensils. That's Strike Two!

Our meals were tasty as ever (six + prior visits). Gina had a Chicken Cesar Salad with their famous cheese macaroni side; I had the seared Ahi Tuna Salad. RayLene graced us with another short visit and said she would comeback with refills on our drinks. She returned several minutes later with the wrong drinks; the silly thing is there were only two other tables to serve in her section, yet she forgot our order (see could have looked at the glasses to see what we were drinking). I had to whine to the manager to receive our proper drinks; at least he apologized to us.

Well, we finished our meal and waited for the check. We waited and waited and waited. I could hear RayLene gossiping with several other waitresses; it sounded like a heavy discussion about their personal lives. I would not have minded hearing the gossip if it was something worth listening to. I stacked our dirty dishes in the middle of our table; it was OBVIOUS we had finished our meal. RayLene stepped to one side of the gossip fest and looked toward my direction. I was waiving my arms like a Navy aircraft carrier marshaller waving a Jet onto the flight deck. The other customers were amused by my frantic display. Of course RayLene ignored me and returned to the gossip fest.

Ten minutes later RayLene again looked in my direction. This time she saw the look of disgust on my face because we made eye contact. I gestured to my hand that I wanted our bill. She walked toward our table and asked "Did you want your check!" That was Strike THREE!!!

Normally I would rate the Elephant Bar with Four to Five Stars, but today they received a disappointing two stars; only because the food was tasty. I can honestly say that RayLene and Santo or Sancho blew it!

If I ever return to the restaurant, I will need to do some deep soul searching. Money is too difficult to come by and having to spend money for POOR service just gets me so disillusioned about eating at a place like the Elephant Bar.

Save your money and eat elsewhere if you want a good time or if you like being treated like poop by RayLene then this is the place for you!...

I LOVE Elephant Bar! ESPECIALLY their happy hour, which is only in the bar area. I usually only go there to order their Passion Olu Mai Tai, which is sooo good and taste like candy alcohol. Drink is made pretty sweet but is definitely strong.

I would rate 5 stars but sometimes the waitstaff is slow. However the bartenders are totally cool and have no problem serving you if the waitress completely ignores your existence (which is what happened the last time I was here)

Food menu is pretty good. I haven't tried much, I usually get the burger and fries which is only $5.50 and a dollar more to add a beer. If I feel like splurging, I order the Shrimp Adventure Platter from the regular menu which is like $15, but totally worth it if you're a shrimp fan.

*HAPPY HOUR REVIEW*

Elephant Bar's happy hour runs 7 days a week 9 pm to close and on weekdays 3-7 pm too. Pretty good happy hour times if you want to save a little over the weekend when you're eating out if you ask me.

So the happy hour menu is relatively small. A little over 10 appetizers and the only entree really would be the burger and fries which I got. They offer a combo deal with the burger, fries, and a domestic beer for 6.50 which in my book is quite a deal. If you want a craft (like a samuel adams) it'd be 7.50, and if you want an import (like stella) it'd be 8.50. I suggest you stay with a domestic or a domestic craft as the beer selection here is quite small in comparison to say, yard house. But hey, five stars for value!

Now onto the food. I got a medium rare burger (CHEESE IS .75 CENTS EXTRA?), fries, and a pint of samuel adams alpine springs. The burger was quite decent. Just your standard patty smothered with thousand island sauce (I think?). The patty was a little too rare imo I suggest you go medium, medium rare for burgers is a little yuck actually. The portion of fries was a somewhat pathetic but hey, what can I ask for 7.50?

This was in the bar area on a slow night so, service was decent cause I was one of the only people in the area haha.

So in conclusion, if it's a weekend at night and you think there's no happy hour anywhere else in town...well there is! It's called da Elephant Bar. Come on in!

*Happy Hour Review Only*

where can you find a good place for some libation and eats on a saturday night...on a tight budget? well, the elephant bar! i've heard of this place but have never been. so he decided to bring me here knowing every other restaurant in the area wont be having any specials on a saturday night. we arrived just after 9PM, and sure enough it was happy hour.

we were lucky to have found two seats at this packed but chilled bar. got us a house margarita for $3 and a classic mojito for $4. for eats, we went with the vietnamese spring rolls at $5.50, calamari for $6.50 and the artichoke dip for $4.50. i didnt really care for the calamari which tasted like rubber but the spring rolls which comes with salad was fabulous!

service was descent from the bartenders but i wish the guy who brought out our artichoke dip didnt drop half the chips on the floor by our feet....and didnt even offer to bring more out =

I ordered the Ahi Tuna Rice Bowl. It was decent and actually really filling. Beware though, if you're not a fan of wasabi, tell the waiter/waitress. The rice is filled with random chunks of wasabi spread throughout the plate. But other than that it was nicely plated and satisfying.

I really wanted to write a review because of their staff though. Two words: GREAT SERVICE. The waitress was very attentive and wasn't all up in our space, constantly asking questions but was there when we needed her. The food came out within 5 minutes which was also a plus. And as we were walking out, a staff member literally ran to the door just so he can open it for us and thank us. AMAZING. Really good service.

The 3 stars is pretty much for the great service. I would only recommend this place if you don't really want to wait for YardHouse.

i ve frequently came here and well - hmm never wrote a review.. really..

Well every time we come here we are greeted with a friendly staff member. this time around we had an amazing waiter as well.

I always order the lettuce wraps.. something about them!

we each got something different and shared our dishes with one another.

Beef bolagnese- pretty good- I've had better

chicken Marsala- basic

I heard the lamb chops were d lish- i don't care for lamb so i opted out

and the chicken with egg noddles were good as well... nothing to write home about or stellar tastes - it was what you expect from a reg restaurant.

I will be back for those lettuce wraps!

Took a girlfriend here for her birthday. I love the Elephant Bar in Lakewood and Buena Park, however my experience at this location was not up to par. The service was not great, and she was a little short of friendly.

The sweet potato fries are the best thing here!! Make sure you mix it up with honey mustard and Siracha hot sauce!

We had the Mongolian beef, which was very salty. We also shared the salmon rolls and Macau shrimp with noodle soup. Out of the two, the salmon rolls /Macau shrimp with noodle soup is the best. We thought that while the salmon tasted great, it would have been better raw (yes, we're craving sushi).

We both agreed the sweet potato fries was the best thing we ate!

You might want to go just to check out what is, quite possibly, one of the worst bar designs ever. I mean, I get it: it's not a sports bar, but the word bar is right there in the name, you'd think they'd put some more thought into it. Everybody in the place was trying to watch the Laker game, and had to crane their necks to unnatural positions to do so.

The bar is circular, so the chairs face the center. The TVs? Mounted on the wall behind the chairs. "Well it's a circle, so you should be able to see from the other side, right?" No, there's a giant shelving unit that runs all the way to the ceiling to an elephant-head-shaped artwork thing. And nobody in the bar was trying to watch that.

The booths are directly under the TVs, making for an awkward viewing angle. Awkward for you, and for the date you've just exposed your nose hairs to.

Food wise, we had the burger, fries, salmon tempura roll, mac & cheese, and spinach artichoke dip. It was all pretty "meh." Things were bland, particularly the roll. Nothing was terrible, you know, and I ate it, so that's a plus right there.

That pretty much describes the whole vibe.

At least there was elephant-head-shaped artwork.

Well, the place inside looks really awesome. It has this jungle/safari/African theme going on. Like a Rainforest Cafe for adults. The staff was really friendly and nice. We got seated really quickly. The waiter was pretty cool.

The food was average for me, and the food is Asian Fusion. We ordered lettuce wraps, which tasted okay, I feel like the salad mix could have used a little bit more acid. I ordered this seared ahi tuna dish that came with rice, seaweed, etc. It was good, but nothing to exciting for me.

Ehh...the place is okay. I probably would come here if I had to or something.

Uh I think this place only exists for the atmosphere. There really isn't a restaurant chain that has captured the jungle feel.... well there's Rainforest Cafe... back to my point...

The food is okay. The food can be labeled as "Asian Fusion." I don't know, I have been here a couple of times but no yummy memory has come up to mind when thinking about this establishment.

Drinks are good... yeah... that's the only thing I can really remember. Other than that... The place is okay.

My boyfriend recently took me here for my birthday. We sat at the bar and enjoyed very strongly made cocktails before choosing the grub...also, when I say strongly made, I mean, very strongly made. My rum and coke almost required a chaser. Instead of a chaser though I opted for making the sour face, hitting the table with my fist then following that up with a "woooo", every time I took a sip :) But that was definitely to my liking.

We started off with the seared ahi tuna. This was to die for. Loved it. Then we opted for the Mongolian beef and garlic noodles with shrimp. My bf took a bite of the Mongolian beef and looked at me like he had just been touched by an angel. I grabbed the chopsticks and dug in and within seconds we were being lifted slowly to the heavens. This had to be the best Mongolian beef I have ever had. The garlic noodles complimented the tangy beef nicely but the shrimp sucked. They were small and not cooked that well, but the noodles were bomb.

We finished off our meal with a shot. I forgot what it was called, but the bartender, Lizette (whom was totally awesome) made these for us after we requested something desert-like with a kick. These were basically kahlua, something else I can't remember, then topped with 151...oh and she lit them on fire. Basically the deal was to put the fire out with your hand. I of course chickened out and made my bf do it, and after the flame was safely out, I sipped it up. So delish!

This place was great! The service was superb, the food was excellent and the shots gave me and my bf what we like to call a nice hb (heavy buzz).

Definitely will be coming back again!

I went there on a Saturday night for happy hour, which runs from 9pm on. The drink specials are great for the environment, including a $2 house margarita (strong for the price), $4 Long Islands & Mai Tais, $5 tall domestic drafts, etc. The appetizer specials are also good and range from $3 up and include things like spring rolls, burgers, sweet potato fries (recommended by a friend), etc.

The service was great by our waitress, she was attentive and had no more than a 5-minute turnaround on our drink orders. Granted, the place wasn't overly crowded, but it was still good service by her. The drinks were tasty and, just as important, powerful.

Overall, it seems like it's a good place to consider bringing a date. The music isn't pounding, no loud guys in Ed Hardy, no one grinding all over the place, etc. If you're looking for a fun, relaxing place to get a few drinks and a bite to eat, check this place out. If you're looking for a bit more of a wilder experience, head elsewhere.

This was my first time going to this place and I must say, in pretty much every aspect other than the decor I was disappointed. I ordered some sweet and sour chicken and my girlfriend ordered the teriyaki chicken. Her dish was extremely salty and mine tasted exactly like a dish my mom makes. If I wanted that I should have just went home because my mom's is better and her portions are more generous! Our food plates were small and not filling. Overall the food quality was fair, flavor wad fair, and portions were poor (although I don't know if I could bring myself to eat more of what was already on my plate). The decor is very nice and their drinks and desserts looked really good. The food is really expensive for the quantity and service.

Also, the service blows donkey balls. Our waitress called me bud which turned me off for whatever reason, she asked how the food was 10 seconds after it had been dropped off and didn't come back until the end. She just assumed we were done and took our food, although I will say that indeed we pretty much were...

Overall, really memorable in ways in which a restaurant should not be. I won't be coming back to another one of these ever.

Hmmm where do I start with this place lol. My wife and I decided to go for a little bite and dessert, now we've been to the location in San Bernardino location and thought it was good.

We ordered Sweet Potatoe Fries, Mac and Cheese, and for dessert had Wonton sundae. Fries tasted really good like always, but mac and cheese lacked some serious flavor. It almost tasted like just eating the noodle that bad, for sure needed some extra cheese or something.

As for the dessert, it was nice and perfect for us. More than likely, we won't be coming back to this location. Service was fair, nothing to bash them about.

My bf and I love this location. We've been here after the movies a few times and have never been disappointed. The hostess is always very cute and personable and the service is always excellent.

Our favorites are the chicken lettuce wraps and the wonton sundae! The lettuce wraps are a big portion and they come with the most delicious peanut sauce. The wonton sundae comes is a big cinnamon wonton with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge on top - so good!

We've also tried the chicken fingers, mac and cheese and the trio of shrimp, all of those were good but the lettuce wraps are always our fave.

Well I was nervous reading some of the other location reviews
walked in blind then started reading. The sevice was excellent checked on by the manager as well. Daughters Kung pau shrimp was a little too spicy and without asking they made another quickly. Macadamia mahi was good. Shrimp scampi was good as well. Im a good cook did it for a living for 10 years. Don't fear. This location must be quite a bit better than the others. Tell them it is your first time ! They treat you very well. There was no wait on Friday evening and the food came quick and hot
