Lost in a neighborhood of older homes and businesses, you will find a large streetside sign that declares that you have arrived at Law's. It's a bar, folks, but does good food too.

This is an old timey, "everybody knows your name" kinda bar. If you are looking for good, fresh food, and a well-poured drink, this is the right spot. If you are looking for Karaoke, don't look at me, but also live entertainment on a small stage, you are still in the right spot.

The two large outdoor "smoking permitted" patios, not my thing, but they appear to be a popular spot to eat when the weather is nice and include heaters for cooler evening comfort. Good for groups.

You can expect to find a lot of retiree customers. So are some of the servers.  But we've noticed young families also frequent here. And for the best of experiences, make sure you meet Paula, a delightful, bubbly "senior"  who serves up fun and chuckles as well as your food.

Typical bar food, their simple menu has it's sandwiches, burgers, entree salads, a few steak choices and fish. My triple decker club was thick with meat and bacon, and good tasting. Fries are good.

They have a nice rib eye steak, 16 oz..  It comes with salad or soup. And if you ask for medium rare, they do it right.

On Fridays, they have a generous cut, well seasoned prime rib that is beautifully slow cooked, that comes with soup or salad and choice of potato (yep, real mashed if you are into it).

They make their own yummy soups, it changes daily (like veggie, potato cheese, or navy bean).  You can get a nice bowl for around $5.

They serve breakfast on Saturday.  Haven't tried it, but I would be willing to give it a try.

Friendly, locally owned and greeted by those who want to make sure your visit is enjoyable. Food is very good. Sandwiches, pork chops, Breakfast pancakes the greatest..which ..made me drive across town recently just to partake. Last Sunday, the bar was full of young couples and older groups all intermingling and chatting.  I hear Karaoke is pretty good and that Michael, the owner,  is a pretty good crooner. I have been here several  times...This establishment is on my list of places to take friends and those looking for a good time, good food, entertainment, and friendly atmosphere.  Wait Staff went out of their way to ask the chef to fix me breakfast after the deadline had passed and this they did with a smile. I look forward to returning.

Well...time to change my review. Sucks because I really loved their steak. But today...I don't know what it was. First of all there was no garlic butter or pesto as there always has been. I just figured they changed it up a bit so I continued eating it without complaint. The steak tasted--actually, there was no taste. No flavor and my baked potato was undercooked. When we complained to the asst. manager (Kelly) she kept saying no its the same. Even after I am insisting it does not taste the same! The server (Alyssa) was very nice until we complained. She was still nice but you can tell she didn't want to be. No one ever apologized. Just no customer service at all!!

This experience was completely different from all the times we have eaten here, and we have eaten here for over 10 years! Unfortunately, because of how rude Kelly was, we will not return to Law's.
