Excalibur Park

The outdoor pool table is awesome, and any bar that lets you play basketball for free gets a +1 star out of me.  :-)

Great fun atmosphere.  Drinks are kind of pricy, but don't be surprised if by your 3rd drink you're not charged every time you order, or not charged for everything you order.  Their food is good, their portions are huge, and their prices are more than fair for food.  They only take cash so stop at the ATM before you arrive, but it's a good bar.

The bartender couldn't remember my order, and charged my friend for my drink assuming that he was my boyfriend (he's not) or something. Overall, I was 100% unimpressed. On the positive side it was cheap and roomy, which counts for something, I guess.

unfortunately, least favorite bar in grosse pointe.

favorites: outside set up -- massive patio, basketball courts, cheap drinks, pool table, good for large groups, best in summer!

meh: seems like a grosse pointe high school reunion, jukebox is kinda lame, not the best atmosphere

worth checking out if you're in the grosse pointe area and you don't want to travel too far. fulfills all necessary qualities of a bar, nothing spectacular.
