This place is similar to perkins or denny's, however lacks the consistency in their food. Service at Lunch and breakfast recently was terrible. Food was slow to come out and luke warm.

I will not return. People get excited about the buns, which is part of the restaurants slogan. I don't want to wreck the surprise, but they taste like the frozen dinner rolls from the freezer isle of the grocery store that you bake at home.

The only good thing, is the prices are super cheap... but they should be cause the food is lacking.

For me, their food currently ranges from good to great.  For a long time their vegetarian selections were lacking in excitement and flavor.  A year or two ago they came out with a veggie burger that is killer.  I'm nervous that they will pull it from the menu leaving me lacking a good reason to go there besides the Pearl Street and New Glarus beers they have on tap.

If the mood is right I recommend the fondue they make with their homemade bread as a dipper.  It's a lot of cheese and carbs though so don't go it alone unless you are really hungry.

TALAME, what is that you ask a amazing white bread super flaky and delicious. I wish that I lived around this area which would have made the dinner experience better given the low prices and large portion size. You may ask why did I give it 3 stars than... Well unfortunately my wife's cajun shrimp and andouille alfredo was super salty and the noodles were slightly overcooked. The sausage and shrimp don't get me wrong were cooked perfectly but the noodles if you could scale back the boiling and make it slightly over el dente and maybe less noodles this would be an amazing dish. I ended up with the prime rib with garlic butter finish. This was simply amazing along with the two sides that come with your meal. I felt so bad that we wasted 3/4 of the pasta dish because my wife couldn't finish it and I was super stuffed from my meal and the talame goodness

Pro- large portion size, relatively inexpensive, talame bread so fresh!

Con- super salty and overcooked noodle

Hidden deal- Inexpensive dinner, great for dates
