3 stars for the food, the food is excellent and so is the price for the food, the price is very fair. I would recommend the crab dip and chicken quesadilla, also alcohol prices are very fair and they so have some nice specials. Â But it does not get 5 stars because like some of the other people have said, the crowd is iffy. I do not like the crowd that goes there so I usually just eat lunch there during the day and rarely have been at night. I recommend going during lunch time if you have never been.
Review Source:We decided to visit this place for open mic night and we were a bit worried at first. Finding the place is difficult and the decor, the people, etc. might not be the best for those looking for a classy (or even average) establishment. However, once the open mic started and our server arrived, I can tell you our experience was definitely good.
First, let's warn people about finding the place. You have to drive the back roads of Arbutus, a Baltimore suburb I'd never even heard of before. Then you come across a random sign for the place... but no bar. Yes, the sign let's you know you're in the right area, but unless you know to turn up this side road (between unkempt yards and a commercial warehouse), you'd never see the place.
Second, the demeanor of the place is part biker bar, part tiki bar, and all working class. Now, I have no problem with that as I spent much of my 20's as part of that demographic. However, if you're looking for a night out at a dance club or prefer up-to-date establishments.... this place is not for you. T-shirt and jeans is the dress code, much of the building is well-worn (and the tiki bar looks haphazardly put together), and there's a feel this place never left the Grunge/Hard Rock period of the 90's.
Now, those are just warnings... still interested? Good. Because the service was good and the food was excellent. Unlike a lot of bars, this place has a kick-ass kitchen with a great menu. We ate a couple of their signature burgers and they were great. Plus, you have your choice of sides, from Old Bay chips to fries to tater tots. They serve salads, other sandwiches, steak, shrimp, etc. If you go on specific nights, they even have specials (Wed - 1 lb. of steamed shrimp for $10!!) and I could definitely see myself eating here more if I lived closer.
So, right now I'm saying this place is A-OK and a good choice to visit; I would honestly give it 3.5 stars if I could. If I come here some more and the service and food continue to be good, I might just up it to 4. For all of it's back yard, rough demeanor, this seems like it might be a diamond in the rough.
This is a great place to hear live music with a laid-back vibe. No pretensions, just cool people, good music, strong drinks, and tasty food. The outdoor deck area is great when the weather is nice and a perfect place to hear the bands under the stars.

A Bar at its BEST! This place offers a little bit of everything...from rock to hip hop, pool tables to dancing or  21 to 82 your going to have a good time here! Food is great & the weekly specials are even better...$1.25 domestic bottles Friday & Saturdays from 6-8...$7.50 buckets! Worth checking out!
Review Source:We visited here to see a band. The space is substantial and well-laid out with multiple areas, multi-sided bars.
But the vibe is distinctly redneck. Â The crowd is low-brow, and while I hate to sound shallow, nightlife is at least partially about being out / being seen / looking good... Â Nothing good looking here unless you want "large + white", in which case this might be the place for you.
The parking lot attendant briefly told us "we're full up here". Only on inquiring did he vaguely suggest going to look for the bar's shuttle somewhere back in the direction of the main road? Â Never mind there was a spot on the street immediately adjacent that he could have pointed us to...
The event door staff were brusque and too busy or distracted to answer my questions.
Music-venue bar staff were friendly, but the unbalanced GreyGoose+Tonics in plastic cups were both small servings and more expensive than more upscale local venues (~$9 each vs $6-8 for more generous servings in old Ellicott City). Â Noticed that all of the flavored vodkas were sitting open/uncapped (no pouring tips).
Nothing about this place calls to me as a destination. Â It might be worthwhile if it's local to you, but not worth seeking out.
