Fitzwilliams Irish Pub

Food was bad. Bartender was rude beyond proportions. He was behaving as if we are drinking from his personal bar and not paying for it.

I blame myself for coming over here. I would say it's a shame on Marriot for having this bar in their hotel.

Shepherd's pie was OK, but I'll suggest walking over to Summer/Winter for food.  If you want beers and snacks...this is good.

We dropped into the Fitzwilliams Irish Pub to watch the New England Patriots game on Oct. 7.  Though the pub was not particularly busy, the service was rather slow - it took about ten minutes to get a bottled beer!  The menu was limited and rather average.  The food was satisfactory, but nothing to get excited about.  I suppose this is what you would expect for a hotel pub.  If staying at the Marriott, Fitzwilliams Irish Pub is an adequate fall back if you lose the motivation to leave the hotel or if your plans fall through, but I wouldn't expect anything special here.
