Flannigan's Bar & Grill

WOW!  Great place, and IT has been for YEARS!!  Tucked inside the ever popular Iowa River Power Restaurant, Flannigan's is a great Sport's Bar/Restaurant. TVs everywhere, bar tables, booths, the 'back upper deck' with round tables and booths.. FREE popcorn, TONS of fun/old signs with good natured slogans....The beer is COLD, it is NOT over priced, and the service is good and friendly. Make sure you have a taco salad, or better yet, a pork tenderloin.. HOPE you can eat it all! The REUBEN is BIG and GOOD! Music is not in your face, and the lighting is not too bright and not too dark! You will be in the old hydro electric plant that made 'power' for Coralville and Iowa City until 1970. Take a look at the water going over the dam as you walk in the door.. Great place, good food, cold beer. Families go there too!,,,,,,,but don't sit next to me with a bunch of little squirming kids!!
