Bubbleology Karaoke

Went here the other night with a group of 9 and we had an amazing time! Paid for the VIP room, which was great. The staff was extremely friendly and is probably the biggest reason we will go back. The drinks were yummy too :)

I went in the other day for bubble tea which was delicious! The guy who served me also showed me and a friend the karaoke rooms while I was waiting for my tea. The rooms looked great and the service was excellent. I want to go back again and use a karaoke room for a party!

We celebrated my birthday here last night and we had an AMAZING time! Having lived in Japan (birthplace of karaoke) I was really impressed with the ambiance and the facilities here. They have hello kitty, hawkeye, one-piece and supermario themed private singing rooms. The rooms had snacks and fun instruments like maracas and tambourines to rock out on while people are singing.

We would've given it 5 stars but there were some technical issues with song selection. At first we thought selection was really limited but turns out that there were sometimes multiple places you could find an artist while flipping through (search function wasn't working well).

Overall, I was very happy to have celebrated my birthday here. The staff was really friendly and much better in comparison to the other private room karaoke option here in Iowa City-No.18. The staff at bubbleology seemed excited to welcome us and even took a picture of our group to put on the wall. It's kind of hidden-across the street from Gabe's-but quite the gem. Iowa City, recognize!
