I have to say I frequently use yelp for recommendations, however I have never reviewed here before. Until now after eating here. Let me first say that I don't consider myself a food snob by any means. In fact. I frequently search for "the local dive" when traveling. Â My wife, son, and I were in cape coral for a few days and stumbled on this place. Â Let me start with the positives. Â The atmosphere is good. And they had basketball playing on the TV's. That's about all the positives I can say. Entering the place the hostess seemed bothered by our presence (also upon leaving she was on the phone with a personal call). Our waiter ( Bradley) was extremely unfriendly and inattentive. Our son ordered a burger off the child's menu which included a drink. We ordered milk. Not only to find out later on our bill that milk is a extra $2.50 which our waiter never mentioned or agreed to remove after our complaint. My wife and I Were both in the mood for their "gourmet burger". The burger was a decent size and cooked to our requests however both tasted like the meat was dropped into the bottom of a fire pit and covered with ashes. The fries were super salty and the fruit cup that my son ordered were also fries. Â Did I mention the waiter was apathetic and inattentive. We will never go back. A shame because the place could have potential

The place seems good and the service was great. The atmosphere is very nice. I would recommend this place to larger groups and parties.

Put it this way, we at first received a 5 ounce filet instead of an 8 ounce filet and I still rate it five stars. Â The problem was quickly and professionally corrected. Â All of our food was excellent and our server was attentive and friendly. Â We came because we had a <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Frestaurant.com&s=c5fe485af4df376130bee54f875814d79c4d7913e1258123b1206d2bdbf4873b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://restaurant.com</a> coupon and we will be back for sure! Â Prices are also quite reasonable (if not a little lower than expected).

I don't give out five stars often but when I see the difference and improvements this restaurant has made since being "the hangout", it's the difference between night and day. They replaced the chef, created an incredible menu, service was excellent (Eddie), they brought in a new GM, and the food quality and presentation I would stack up against many of the bigger chain restaurants I go to often, like bonefish, outback, carabbas etc. Although, this menu seems to be a bit of a higher quality and better presentation. Menu pricing was also comperable to those same restaurants. Great atmosphere and very comfortable. Â Overall it was a great experience and we will certainly be back.

The food is reasonably good bar food and the atmosphere is very nice especially by Cape Coral standards. However the service particularly at lunch is abysmal. We have been four times and each time the food was good but getting a server to come by and check on diners, keep drinks filled and bring the check after a meal is a chore. Getting in and out of this place in under an hour has been difficult to the point we probably won't go back for lunch any longer.

If you have time and looking for some decent bar food, you could do worse than coming here.
