You get what you pay for!
The best Chinese buffet you could possibly get in a barely renovated old Ponderosa. Â The food is definitely Americanized strip mall Chinese at it's worst, but it has redeeming qualities. Â Lunch "buffet to go" is all you can stuff into a relatively large box for $5.95 and can easily feed up to three people. Â And it's buy one get one half off!
It isn't great, but I don't always need great. Â Sometimes I just need fast, easy, and cheap. Â Plus, my Grandma loves it. Â Judging by the typical patrons, so do a lot of other grandmas.
I wish I could say that this buffet was different from all the other Chinese buffets. It's not. It's not dirty, but it's not clean either. The food is just o.k. It would have been forgotten much sooner, if it wasn't for the occasional burp. 80's decor, that is well worn. I need to scope these places out first. Or just stop going to cheap Chinese all together.
