Great place for a nice local pizza, or sub. Â Crust was med thick chewy, "a good thing", they do a deep dish style & calzones also. Family owned, open every day.
We had a house salad too. Â Salad was a good size basic but fine. Service was quick and pleasant for a late Sun lunch time after a kids soccer game at the near-by high school (Wm. Byrd). Â Â They do serve beer, wine since that goes w/ pizza I'm told. ;) soft drinks & ice tea w/ refills.
Bathrooms were clean and serviceable. Â Plenty of parking on the side. Â There is a neat little 2nd hand shop / antique store next door to check out.
Also, near by is an entrance of the Blue Ridge parkway just a mile or 2 east that has lots of great out looks. Â One has a small ~ 2 mi hiking side trail and view of the valley & Roanoke.
We'd go back.
