Papa D's

Great place to drink and listen to awful karaoke.  A couple of nice pool tables, too.  Hollins University summer students have made it their go to bar and Kory (the owner) always welcomes them with open arms and a big smile.  Its a great, low key, unassuming place.  And a little too smoky!

Cheese steaks rule. Second only to New York Pizza in Vinton. Subs are top notch. Not sure about anything else

I love Papa D's! Kory the owner is the most awesome man on the planet. The atmosphere is friendly, kinda like cheers. The Karaoke is amazing and the food is always good. The alcohol doesn't cost much and they have a good selection. The best if you go and get drunk you can get a ride home from Kory in the short bus! You have to go at least once in your life. Or hundreds of times if you live in Roanoke.
