We went on a Wednesday night, since they had a special trivia game that night. Â The place was pretty empty. Â In addition to the regular crowd, there were only five trivia teams that showed.
There were probably thirty people total there. Â The place has a capacity of probably 100 to 150 people. Â They have big screen TVs on the walls. Â The bar is in the center, and it is quite large.
Since this was a slow night, my service might be better than that of a busy night. Â The variety of food on the menu seemed about right for a sports bar. Â They have hamburgers, wings, cheesesteak sandwiches, fried stuff. Â Comfort food. Â I had the sliders. Â I got two Buffalo chicken sliders and two pulled pork sliders. Â They were actually quite good, if only a little pricey. Â They were better than I was expecting.
I can imagine that this place would be hopping on Saturday nights and game nights. Â The big screen TVs are really the dominating feature of this place, and I could see myself watching a game here.
The bill was only $30 for four people--some of us got food, some didn't. Â Some of us got drinks, some didn't. Â All in all, that's a pretty good price for a group of our size. Â We did get a free pitcher of beer for our participation in trivia (1st five teams got a free pitcher).
Friends is a pretty solid sports bar. They have lots of tvs, and are amenable to switching up what games they are showing. Their food is really pretty good. I recommend the nachos, but I would stay away from the pulled pork - it tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for a while.
