Pretty average Chinese food. I've ordered here a few times, and nothing's wowed me, but nothing has been bad. They have patio seating right on the lakefront path in the summer, but I think are delivery-only the rest of the year. Delivery, even to neighboring apartment buildings, has been slow, so I've generally opted to pick up my food instead.
Review Source:I Really wish that you were able to put a 0 Star Review on Yelp for this Place.
I Purchased a Groupon for Friendship Chinese from the recommendation of a friend and they warned me it was difficult to find. Â After driving around trying to find the place I decided to just place a delivery order for there Downtown location.
I Should have known that this was not going to be my best experience with delivery as it took me 30mins to get a hold of someone after having to call the Logan Square location and leave a message for them to call me back.
After finally getting a hold of them, I placed my order (purposely spending more than the Groupon) gave them my credit card information and said that it would be about 45mins. Â After about an hour of No food still I called the restaurant and then they said I was the last delivery of the night and asked if I could tip on the card so they could close out.
I told them I would tip them in person, and then preceded to wait for my delivery still.
After multiple calls to the restaurant I NEVER RECEIVED my food!!!
Not ONLY did they NOT show up, they charged my credit card, redeemed my Groupon, and I never had Dinner.
STAY AWAY and prevent yourself the headache!
OOoo and Icing on the cake that have yet to get a hold of me regarding any sort of Apology and my Money back that they charged me for food I never received.
Easily my worst restaurant experience in Chicago ever
My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this place when we were on a late night bicycle ride along the lakefront. Â The service was comically bad in that it was both slow and disorganized. Even before the incident described below, we were shocked at how unresponsive the staff was. We initially stood there for while as they chatted among themselves before I broke into their conversation.
The shocker was that my long-awaited mai tai contained 8 (eight) gnats. Â The replacement Mai Tai ALSO had several bugs in it, including some that were still moving. The waiter was so confused, he almost seemed to have a serious medical problem. He kept telling me the bugs were due to the wind and their attraction to the lights. Â Trying to have a discussion with this individual was basically impossible.
After this nightmare experience, we asked for the bill thinking they would comp our other drink, which was a glass of Merlot. Â Instead, the waiter took several minutes to come back with a full charge for the wine that we really didn't want to drink after our insect encounter.
The overall experience was so bad, I am assuming the staff knows the place is going out of business and just doesn't care. Â This is only a guess but the only time I have witnessed such bad service was under such a scenario.
The last couple times we visited Friendship I was a little upset because they didnt have the Chilean Sea Bass any longer however the last trip to Friendship made me want to be BFF's with them forever. They have added sushi to the menu and we decided to order the tuna tartar tower with mangos OMG it was amazing!!! We also went for our usual Shrimp in Lobster Sauce still fantastic and a new one the Ginger Beef and Green Beans highly seasoned and tender Oh so good!!!!!
Im definitely a huge fan again!!!!!!
This review is for the sushi, and only the sushi. Just thought I'd get that out there.
And we were eating here before the Groupon. So we're cool. Or something.
First, this place is IMPOSSIBLE to find the first time around. They are underneath the Randolph/Lake Shore Drive on-ramp by the bike path in DuSable Harbor. Also, certain staff members can get extremely bent-out-of-shape if you don't understand their directions. Parking is 15 min only and it's totally shady. You feel like you're about to have some sort of mob-related rendezvous involving passwords and revolvers.
Sadly, their delivery is slow. So I've gotten to know their shady parking lot pretty well.
In the winter, when it is nice and cold outdoors, it is also nice and cold indoors. The building acts like a giant refrigerator and keeps everything sub-arctic. So the sushi here is fantastic! And I really mean fantastic. Very tasty rolls with nice, fresh fish; crisp veggies and good sauce. But that's when it's cold out.
The warmer it is outdoors, the warmer it gets inside. You can guess where I'm going with this. The sushi starts to melt. And warm, melty sushi is decidedly NOT the same as warm, melty grilled cheese.
4 Winter Stars - 1 Summer Star = 3 Stars
Here's the breakdown:
1) Fantastic winter sushi. Terrible summer sushi.
2) Creeeeeeepy parking
3) Weird location
4) Slow delivery
5) Cool, cake-box delivery packaging with authentic plastic sushi trays and generous amounts of wasabi and ginger.
So as great as their maki can be, I avoid them in the summer. I made up a little poem: Stay Away After May. There. Now you won't forget.
I would actually give this palce like 4.5 stars but I decided to round up today cause I'm in a good mood.
Let me start with the only two bad things about this place which negate a true 5 star review. Â First, it is very difficult to find and get to. Â It is right on the lake, at Du Sable Harbor and the only way in or out is cab or walking. Â Second, the charge a $10 corkage fee...per bottle! Â While that is pretty absurd, I do appreciate a good BYOB place and most restaurants will mark up wine by well more than $10/bottle so I guess I can live with it.
Now on to the good stuff. Â This place has only outdoor seating, right on the lake, in a quiet area just south of Navy Pier. Â It is right behind a string of boats coming in and out of the harbor and on the Saturday night we were there, there was live jazz music playing the entire meal. Â In terms of atmosphere, it does not get much better and the place, despite taking reservations, was not too crowded at all. Â Given the difficulty in getting to and from, I would imagine this place will always have a table open which is great.
The food, also was great. Â Our table of 4 got several appetizers and debated about which we liked more, the crab rangoon or the chicken dumplings. Â We had about 4 sushi rolls, all of which were big and worth the price and cooked perfectly. Â It took a little while for us to get our sushi due to the single sushi chef, but when sitting outside listening to music on a warm summer eve, we were certainly in no rush. Â We also got an order of lo mein for the table which was just what the doctor ordered to fill us all up.
Great atmosphere, great place, great food, but I am wary of using the word great so many times as I fear this place will get too popular and lose some of its cache. Â On the other hand, approximately 2 people read my yelp reviews and both were at the dinner with me so I have nothing to worry about.
Cheers.
Now, don't expect this to be like your quick post-4am night out chinese food fix that is cheap and greasy..this is quality chinese and the best i've had in my opinion. I've had both Friendship on the Lake and the Logan Square, no difference in them. The Lo Mein is spot on and the spicy long bean is also to die for. Honestly, it's my favorite chinese and worth the extra vs the crap that will give you a stomach ache an hour later. Love it. And can't wait for their awesome lakefront patio space to open in summer!
Review Source:disclaimer- i've only eaten here for delivery
1. delivery- on time but funny, they always bring the food in these humongous cake boxes which make us feel like we're about to eat huge feasts. (which we do since we have never finished a meal in one sitting)
2. great deals- especially their bento boxes- they do not come with fewer special sushi rolls, you get the WHOLE roll which is incredible. plus it comes with 4-5 chef selected nigri as well as a free sushi roll if you order a certain amount of food on delivery.
3. food is decent, but we can never ever finish the food.
we keep ordering b/c its such an incredible deal!
Americanized Chinese in the River North delivery area! YES!!!!
Deducted one star because they were 15 minutes over the 45-60 minute delivery estimate, and also because they are pretty pricey for standard Chinese delivery.
Other than those two points, I will GLADLY pay for delicious, greasy, Americanized (read: standard Chinese food that you can find in any other typical American city besides Chicago) Chinese food that apparently doesn't exist in the rest of Chicago.
Real lo mein noodles. Not the Cantonese noodles you get when you order lo mein from every other Chinese restaurant in downtown Chicago. I am so happy to have finally found this place.
Friendship is some of the best Chinese in Chicago outside of Chinatown. This "on the lake" location is the closest delivery to us, and that's just fine because they're really good. I do wish I had never walked into their restaurant though as I saw spider webs and big spiders up high on their ceilings above where they cook the food. That makes an arachnophobic feel really good about the food there. Well, at least I didn't run out of there running and screaming like a little girl.
I know some of the best food I've had is at restaurants that would fail the health codes horribly if they didn't bribe the right person, so I really don't care much about that. The food is mostly fried and Americanized Chinese, but it's better quality than most of "normal" Chinese restaurants around. The price does reflect that. It's not cheap. Even though most of the food is very fried, it doesn't taste greasy, and the meat seems to be of good quality as well.
The service isn't the kindest. My wife ordered something once that they delivered incorrectly. My wife said it was probably partially her fault as she remembered them reading back the order and leaving something out then too. She just didn't think to mention it then. We called to complain even though there was fault on both sides, and they just blamed us and didn't bother to deliver the remaining dish without a separate delivery fee. At that point we said forget it, which meant my wife ate my food.
In summary, be careful before you get married. Just kidding. Two of their dishes is actually more than enough food for three people, so it was all good.
Friendship is my household's absolute hang-over go to. The food has some kind of magical healing powers that I can't quite explain, but there is nothing like their crab rangoon to set you right.
Let me tell you, I Know crab rangoon and have had more than my fair share. This is the best rangoon in the city, hands down. Other than that, they use white meat chicken for, well, their chicken dishes. Sad to say, but we all know how rare that can be for Chinese takeout. The sesame chicken is always a win, along with their chicken lo mein. And then there are the chocolate fortune cookies (!)
It's a straight up takeout place for sure, but let's give credit where it's due. You won't find fancy fusion dishes, but it's the best when it comes to ordering legit americanized chinese.
I don't know why this place has all these negative reviews. We ordered tonight with a groupon and couldn't be happier with the food. It tastes great, presentation was wonderful and the delivery time was spot on (1
hr-which is very typical in chicago)
We ordered crab rangoon (BEST we've had yet, and we've ordered a lot) and the mongolian beef and spicy peanut chicken. all of it was wonderful and the helpings were more than enough to fill you up and have some for tomorrow. I really enjoyed it, though i likely wouldn't pay so much without the groupon.
Before you run out to satisfy a Chinese food craving call for delivery instead. Â Friendship on the Lake is only open for dining in the summer...so you'll have to resort to good old delivery the rest of the year.
I've been a fan of the original Friendship for a long time now, but don't make it there often since it's a bit far from where I live. Â And way too far for delivery. Â
Friendship on the Lake delivers to River North- lucky me! I first placed an order from here about a month ago with a friend. At the time I was nursing and had to stay away from spicy stuff and some veggies so my options were a bit limited, but we ended up ordering the won ton soup, grilled sake garlic chicken and szechwan shrimp chardonnay. I've had trouble finding good delivery spots in Chicago (especially when it comes to good Chinese food), but my friend and I agreed this was pretty tasty.
A few weeks later I decided to order with my hubby again and this time we even saved a little $ thanks to a recent groupon. By now I had retired the good old nursing pump so it was OK to eat spicy foods...and the spicy garlic peanut chicken was calling our name! We also ordered some beef lo mein.
When the food arrived in their signature cake box my husband commented that it had a weird smell...and I had to agree. Â The food was just mediocre this time around. Perhaps it was just an off night for my "friends" at Friendship or maybe we ordered the wrong thing. Â I may try Friendship again and stick with my original order, although the search continues for the best Chinese food delivery.
Just ordered delivery from here. Â The delivery took over an hour. Â After being given the wrong dish, I called and asked them to please take it off the bill. Â They refused. Â They said that they modify their dishes sometimes, and I got what I ordered. Â (No, I didn't.) Â I never received an apology. Â It was only after my boyfriend got on the phone to ask them to please remove the dish that they agreed. Â
On a brighter note, the food was awesome. Â Really good. Â I don't know if I would order from here again, for fear of another 'wrong order' issue. Â Their other location (in Logan Square?) was fantastic, and I will be back there for sure.
FINALLY Friday and after a long day of being hungover (SHOCKER), this girl needed some good Chinese food to help my recovery! Â I decided to take a chance and try this place out. Â I love me some Sesame Chicken and LOVED it here! Â Good, quality meat and a delicious sauce! Â I also had a sweet potato roll, which was delish as well.
Only cons I have to say was the fried rice, which wasn't very flavorful and the meat wasn't very good. Â It was also pretty expensive for Chinese takeout -- $40 bucks! Â
That being said, I'll definitely be ordering again for the sesame chicken!
So here is the situation. I ordered "pad thai" through grubhub. When it came, it was not pad thai. I understand that this dish has variations, but the staples are pretty much the same - crushed peanuts, thin rice noodles, egg, and some meat variation. Friendship's "pad thai" was so far off the mark that I called grubhub complaining that I was delivered the wrong thing. Why did I think that? Well, for one thing the noodles were not rice or thin. They were egg and wide. If there were any peanuts, they were covered by the mound of green peppers, eggplant, baby corn, mushrooms and other mystery vegetables I could not identify due to the thick brown sauce. It was more like drunken noodles. Grubhub called back and informed me that the chef who put together my order had confirmed that it was pad thai.
I was shocked, but I accepted it. I can't expect everyone to make pad thai the way I like it (or the way it should be made!) I gave Friendship a try. It failed. And now I know. As for anything else on the menu, I can't say. But if you are looking for pad thai, consider this a warning. ORDER FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE.
On one hand, the service was monumentally terrible. Â The waiter took our order for drinks and appetizers and then it took us 45 minutes to get his attention again. Â It was very annoying. Â On the other hand, this place is obviously a tourist trap so terrible service is to be expected. Â On the bright side, the sushi was fresh and tasty and the beers were served very cold so it wasn't a total loss. Â I'd go back again but I'd build in extra time for waiting.
Review Source:The original Friendship Chinese is easily my favorite chinese restaurant in Chicago. Â Their food is inventive and delicious and the service is amazing.
I went to Friendship on the Lake with my husband last night, and I don't even understand how the two places are related. Â We started with a Dragon roll, which was actually rather decent. Â Then I got the peppery shrimps and scallops and hubby got the orange chicken. Â I got 4 shrimps, 3 tiny rubbery scallops and 7 lbs of broccoli. Â Broccoli was not even in the description of my meal, and it's not like i'm proud of it or anything, but i never got over my childhood hatred of broccoli ok? Â If you're going to give me an entire plate full of the stuff, I would like a warning. Â Furthermore, the orange chicken tasted like they made it three days ago, stuffed it in the refrigerator and then microwaved it for not quite as long as they should have...
Not to mention the service - two other couples sat down and left after 20 minutes of not even water service.
In conclusion, maybe the takeout is alright, but do not go down there... for chinese food. Â The lakefront seating is super fantastic and the burgers and japanese food are alright. Â Could really use a liquor license to capitalize on that patio.
I wish I could give this place a worse review. Â I ordered delivery last Sunday. Â After an hour and a half I called and they said it should be there any minute. Â After two hours I called again and they said the delivery driver just left. Â At this point I made a fuss and they said they would deliver it for free and call me back. Â They never called back and the food never came. Â You've won this time Friendship on the Lake!!! Â Well played!!!
Review Source:The food here is very average, pretty much what you would expect. Â The pluses are that they have a good sized menu, so decent options, they deliver fairly promptly and in neat containers, the portions are large, and it's pretty good food. Â The minuses are that whoever I talked to on the phone to place my order had no idea what she was doing (as in, when i ordered the tofu (which is the only tofu on the menu), she asked me where on the menu that item was, like she had no clue they even offered tofu), the beef is VERY low quality beef, like almost all fat, the sauces are SO thick and heavy and sweet that i felt my arteries clogging as i ate, and it's WAY overpriced for what you get. Â
The only reason we ordered from here is that i live close by and my apt bldg gave me a $25 free coupon. Â We won't be ordering from here again...Dao Thai down the road is much much better, less expensive, and more reliable.
This is what good delivery Chinese food is supposed to taste like people! Â My wife and I have been searching for a good Chinese restaurant in Chicago since transplanting here almost a decade ago from NY. Â We had not found it until we ordered from Friendship on the Lake. Â
The food was delivered neatly packaged in a white box. Â We ordered egg rolls, bbq ribs, spicy peanut chicken, lo mein and pork fried rice. Â Man, are we glad we ordered enough to have left overs. Â Every dish was beautifully presented, as far as delivery goes, and tasted great. Â This is our new go-to Chinese take out joint. Â
We'll definitely be calling again and look forward to visiting the restaurant.
I have been to the Friendship Chinese Restaurant in Avondale, and although I have yet to review it, I'm a fan of THAT joint.
I ordered dinner to be delivered from their downtown outpost. Â Not quite a life-changing mistake, but I will definitely think twice or perhaps three or four times before I order from there again. Â
The Hong Kong steak was excellent, adding that critical 3rd star. Â And, there was plenty of rice (which is a good thing for an asian such as myself). Â The other two dishes were mediocre to failing at best. Â One of my faves at the Avondale location is the spicy eggplant with tofu -- the downtown version of this same dish was barely recognizable save for the, uh, tofu, and the, well, eggplant. Â The sauce was abominable -- brown with a fine cornstarch sediment throughout. Â I so wanted to make this review 2 stars, but the third dish barely eked out another star -- spicy garlic chicken (kung pao style). Â Not spicy, lots of irregularly sized pieces of chicken, but tasty nonetheless....it, too, had that same cornstarch sediment, and that alone made it difficult for me to like the dish, and give this review 3 stars overall. Â
Positives -- Hong Kong steak; plethora of rice; Â delivery was super fast and timely; interesting delivery device (all of the plastic tubs were placed inside of a cardboard cake box -- there was slight spillage, but it was contained inside the box....1/2 star right there). Â
Negatives -- cornstarch sediment; dishes seem to be different from the other Friendship in Avondale
Damn you Groupon....damn you..
The search continues...
Where is a good dependable Chinese delivery in Chicago?
The food here is OK but definitely not great. Â Nothing obviously wrong with it. Â Someone mentioned in a review that something was too spicy. Â I would have liked mine significantly spicier (had the spicy peanut garlic chicken).
I had a reasonable delivery experience from here.
The good stuff: The sesame chicken was very tasty and served in a delicious tangy sauce that I very much enjoyed mixing in with my rice/noodles etc.  This was the best dish we had.  The orange chicken was also  pretty tasty although a little on the sweet side for me.
The not so great: The mongolian beef was a little bland for me. Â The components were all there but there just wasn't enough taste. Â Ditto for the lo mein, which was absurdly dry and didn't have enough noodles. Â The fried rice was also super dry.
Don't get me wrong; I gorged myself on this meal like a fat kid after losing at dodgeball. Â Still, in the future, I'll probably stick with Yen's.
Salt and pepper crispy beef from Friendship on the Lake continues to disappoint as a delivery item: the portion is small and if I wasn't pretty much the first delivery that their deliveryman made on his rounds, it would have been a soggy mess by the time that it got to me (pieces of the battered beef were well on their way to sogginess by the time my order was delivered).
Also, the high prices at Friendship on the Lake continue to horrify. Â My heavens, the Chinese food situation in Chicago is desperate.
as i sat home watching the snow started to come down again, i realized there was simply no way i would cook tonight
time to call in for some good old delivery :)
the delivery service at friendship was prompt (i don't have a problem waiting for an hour, its not like they promised anytime earlier)
i absolutely loved the crispy calmari!!! wow, i can't believe it was still crunchy when it got here
its was perfectly cooked and highly addictive, bf and i finished them in  one sitting
we also got the boneless peking duck and chicken 88, both were good as well
the portions were huge and the delivery man was very friendly
glad we have a new option for chinese food in downtown
I came upon Friendship on the Lake through <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FGrubHub.com&s=f593eaab003cd19889a720326b2f211d5de3ba2dc932c7460208b2fc52110c66" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://GrubHub.com</a>. The reviews convinced my husband and I to try it. The food is delicious and the delivery presentation was quite nice; love the cake box! We recommend the appetizer plate, the mongolian beef, and the honey walnut shrimp.
Review Source:Fantastic. Â I have finally found a go-to place for chinese food (and delivery) in Chicago. Â It took me 6 months of searching but it was well worth it. Â
So I ordered delivery, and like they say on the website, delivery takes about an hour and like clock work they were here an hour later.  Some people seem to gripe about this, but it's customary with delivery from just about anywhere in a city and they tell you up front.  If you want it faster, go pick it up yourself.... back to my review...
Everything came packaged excellently in their customary cakebox, and the entree's were in plastic microwavable containers. Â A very good start.. Time to dig in!
The dilemma I have found so far is that everywhere I've been is very hit or miss on each dish. Â Some places had fantastic rangoon, or egg rolls and wonton soup, but the food itself was miserable. Â Some places had acceptable food and substandard apps. Â But no one had combined it all together.
The crab rangoon were a little different from i'm used to but were very good.  The crunchy bits were all at the top and it looks like they actually prepare them as though they really were wontons, as the wonton soup's items had the same exact look and form.  More importantly they were mighty tasty without being overly addictive.  Sounds like a bad thing but its not.  The egg roll was fantastic as well, and I am an immense fan of the sauce that they provided which much more kick than traditional duck sauce (which i wouldn't have bothered with)
The honey walnut shrimp was tasty like candy. Â Sweet, with a complimentary sauce, broccoli and pineapple. Â Although I do wish that had detailed it first so that I didn't have keep cutting the tails off but no one's perfect. Â It was very good. Â The sesame chicken was roughly up to par. Â Not spectacular but good, but then again that's what you generally expect from it. Â
All in all Friendship on the Lake just made a new friend in my stomach
I was desperate for some Chinese tonite. Â After reading the rave reviews about their sesame chicken and eggrolls, I ordered from Friendship on the Lake for delivery. Â
Tick tock goes the clock. Â 60 minutes later (I'm about 2 miles from their LSD location), the food arrived. Â Eggrolls are tasty as reviewed previously. Â The sauce is yummy... Â and that's about where the goodness ended.
The chili garlic shrimp is neither spicy nor garlicky. Â For $14, I was expecting more than 10 shrimps. Â The shrimps were of decent size I must say. Â The whole thing was drawned in a soupy liquid.
I was excited about the container full of the sesame chicken. Â But my excitement was utterly shattered once I took a bite. Â The chicken is ultra ultra over cooked. Â It's like eating chunks of cardboard coated in batter and covered in sauce. Â WTF, over? Â I expected this from some Chinese stand (cough)PandaExpress(cough) in a mall elsewhere but, not from a restaurant. Â I wasn't really sure if I'm eating chicken so I bit half a piece to check that it's really poultry inside. Â Yup. Â Chicken inside alright... Â To their credit, the sauce is very tasty. Â But I didn't order Sesame Sauce now did I? Â
The price is well over-priced. Â eggrolls and 2 dishes was $37!!!
But but but, the desert candy is delicious though. Â The eggrolls and desert candy managed to get 1-star rating. Â Live and learn! Â Oh, and I want to smoke what the people who gave this place the 4 and 5-stars rating is smoking.
My husband & I have ordered delivery from Friendship three times now and it's pretty darn tasty!  First of all, I love the way it's packaged - in a cake box!! Nothing spills - and it looks like a cute cake is being delivered ;)  For food, I've had the sesame chicken and the sweet & sour chicken - the sesame is fantastic, even my husband likes it and he's not too big on the sweet/saucy dishes.  The sweet & sour I'm not a fan of - it's just alright, which is why I went back to sesame chicken for our third order.  For appetizers, we've tried the crab rangoon and the eggrolls - the rangoons were a bit too cream cheesy for my taste, but the eggrolls were very tasty  - crispy & stuffed with goodness.  Delivery has always been prompt - we order through grubhub and it's never over the estimated time.  We'll continue to order for great delivery  in cake boxes ;)
Review Source:Meh. Â I live NEXT door in lakeshore east. Â I could throw a rock out my window and literally hit it. Â I've been watching them get this place ready and was super jazzed now that it's opening. Â AND the coupon I got for their grand opening sure didn't hurt. Â OK, rock my world Friendship!
For some reason, it took them over an hour to come to our place.  Which was a puzzlement seeing that, once again, I could communicate with them via two cups connected with a  string dangling out my window. Why didn't I get my lazy @ss out of the house and go pick it up?  Cause I'm a busy woman.  I've got wheelings and dealings to attend to.  But, maybe they were super busy on their first open week, and also it was raining pretty bad so that likely contributed.  Forgiven.
(On a note of hilarity, once we got the call from the door man that the delivery guy was here, it took a ridonculous amount of time for him to make it to our place. Â I almost went out looking for him, but couldn't imagine where on earth he could be). Â Is he just knocking on random doors? Â Hmm. Â
I am a vegetarian and ordered the veggie egg rolls, veggie dumplings (which I don't think is listed online) and the broccoli. Â Broccoli- not so good. It was very stalky, and I like the crowns myself. Â Sauce was OK at the very best, and I hate it when you can't order brown rice. Â Can I get an amen? Â Veggie egg rolls- uninspired. I didn't like the sauce, personally. It wanted to be sweet and sour, but was trying to be fancy or something and just didn't quite hit the mark. Â But I'm very very picky, so give them a try for yourself. Veggie dumplings- pretty decent, actually. Â I would get those again for sure. Â
And we will be  ordering again.  My husband really liked the sesame chicken and crab rangoons.  I'd have said two stars, he'd have said three or four so we'll compromise.  Three.
HANDS DOWN me & my boyfriend's favorite chinese restaurant in chicago! i have finally found an egg roll in this city that isn't soggy, or funky, or just plain inedible!! we have only ordered in, but the food has arrived early both times & in a cute little " hat box" with everything neatly packaged :) The eggrolls & potstickers are TO DIE FOR, the crab rangoon isn't half bad either. I also really like the pineapple fried rice! My boyfriend is seemingly obsessed with the spicy chicken dishes, this is quickly becoming one of our go-to places to for take out:) I would highly recommend it!
