Front Street makes great drinks, no complaints there. The prices are good and happy hour specials knock a dollar off of every drink. Food from Sweet Mel's next door can be ordered until well into the evening, which is nice. My only issue with the bar is that it has gotten really popular and less of a relaxed/not-too-loud bar experience.
Review Source:This was my first stop in Laramie, and it made me fall in love with the city. The staff and patrons were completely lovely people, and I felt entirely welcomed. It's a young professional type of clientele, and, for some reason, everyone is totally gorgeous. True story. I went to several over bars while in town, but Front Street stood head and shoulders above the rest. I can't wait to go back!
Review Source:When front street isn't packed from wall to wall, it's a tie for my favourite bar in Laramie (tied with the Library).
Front Street has the best raspberry mojito on earth. They use an in-house raspberry sauce made in their restaurant. Oh man.
Unless you're allergic to hipsters, this is a fantastic bar.
One of the newest bars in a town with too many, it's the first one you could legitimately classify as the hipster bar. Cowboy and sports bars abound, but until this place showed up you'd struggle to find a comfy place save for maybe The Library bar to find a congregation of those types. (I don't mean it  derisively either...) Anyway, it fills a niche the town of too many booze establishments needed proving The Long Tail applies to more than just the social web.
Review Source:Front Street is a lovely bar with comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere. Â The reason I prefer this tavern over any other in Laramie is that it offers a mature heir of sophistication amongst the many college bars in town. Â There is a reasonable selection of microbrews on tap, and a moderate selection of wines. Â Considering that Front Street is an extension of the wonderful restaurant next door, Sweet Melissa's, the friendliness of the staff of that establishment overflows into the tavern. Â The only drawback of Front Street is that seating can be an issue on the busier (weekend) evenings.
