Funky Fish

Opened a month ago. Excellent food, plentiful wait staff, funky 3-D ceiling paintings. Go early on Saturday eve to avoid wait.

We just came home from Funky Fish.  Arrived around 7:15; told 15-20 minutes, so we ordered drinks and were seated immediately!  They brought wonderful bread and 20 minutes later the waiter showed.  He told us the crab cakes were very small, so we decided in shrimp, etc.

I asked for another wine, to which he noted, "if you'd told me that before it wouldn't have taken four hours."

I said to forget it but he said he was simply kidding and it would be out quick.

Thirty minutes later.  Nothing.  No wine, no food, no water refill, etc.

Finally, I asked a bus boy to find our waiter.  He came by, told us how busy he was (the place was clearing out), and offered to turn on a tv!  Gave him $20 and left.

We love their sister property, Two Meatballs in the Kitchen, but this is our last trip here.  We were here on opening night and you expect snags, but this was nothing short of a horrible dining experience.  

And it was our daughter's birthday.
