This is the best local bar that has the best bartenders, band and employees, period.

Thursday nights is Ladies night, and Saturday nights, they are bringing in different bands to experiment to see how the "fans" like it.

I have been going there for about 20 yrs and love this place.

We need new people to come in, so come out tonight.

I went in around 9 pm on a Tuesday.  It was empty and smoky and no one greeted me.  I went to sit at the bar and Heather waited on me.  I had a really great Long Island Ice Team for $7.  After that, I left- nothing going on , smelled smoky..and blah. I may try old school one night on a Friday.

A hole in the wall where you will see everything. Visiting the bestie and she picks this place. Walking up I notice the uniformed cops and the thick stench of mid-grade weed. Yuck this place is nice and funky. We are brushed right in but her boyfriend is given a pat down that would rival the airport during the holidays. (Red Flag)

One room seems dead the other is cramped to capacity. The drinks are weak, no clue of the cost. Dj was okay with the reggae but was real ratchet with the rap/hip hop - straight strip club music.

In the other room we played "Itlookalikeaman". Plastic surgery is going above and beyond. Funniest part of the night, dude buying up a brunch of drinks for theses big butt "chicks" at the bar, then his face when the lights turned on bright (they weren't dim to begin with) and these "chicks" stood about 6'5. It was a Kodak moment.

Glad cops were in the parking lot to keep order of these over eager men from acting up to women that didn't feel like giving out their number. But the over exposure of cops just makes it feel unsafe - though it was a good night.

I would normally givve this place 5 stars but I don't like the changes that they made to the place.  I personally liked it better when everybody was on one side and enjoying the band and they had an area to play pool.  Now, it seems that they have split it into 2 different clubs.  It feels like one side has a cool older croud and the other is a younger croud.  Not my company and I see what they are attempting to do.  So this is just my personal review.  Do what works for you guys.  I know my people have only been back onece since the change.  We were regulars....

I was visiting Pembroke Pines for Thanksgiving and stumbled upon this "club" (in a mini mall) on a Tuesday night based on the  reviews on yelp. There is no Tuesday poetry night anymore. It was straight radio hip hop spanning the present hits all the way back to when I was in high school in 1992.There was free Ciroc vodka for ladies before midnight, however the first bartender I ordered from was scandalous (and greedy) and let me drop $31 for 4 vodka drinks without telling me about the Ciroc special.

Florida has a very special and unique culture. There were a lot of songs with the word "f#ck" in them or with instructions for you to drop it low, bend it over, or touch your toes :) Even if the songs didn't have instructions the DJ injected his own and many of the women on the dancefloor obeyed. We left before the main performer, Iceberg, came on (we had to get up early to cook for Thanksgiving), but there was a really good crowd waiting for him to come on.

This Tuesday night party was something different and something interesting for me. We came in expecting poetry and got a very different thing, but still I had fun with all the ladies in my family. I am blacktina from New York and have lived in many cities around the US so I could hang, but at the same time I spent the whole time in my booth with my kin drinking, laughing, and people watching.

Best spot so far.  It's a hole in the wall place where you can go and have a good time. I only been there so far on friday nights. They have two dance floors one with a live band and in between a DJ that plays music from old to new school, the second one has a  DJ that rock all the hip reagae music, and I want to say it has about two pool tables. The drinks and the food  are good and the prices are better. The crowed is great.  I love it!!!

Went there last night with some friends, the musice was awesome both DJ and live, two dance floors and some pool tables.  Drinks were okay, what was really cool was seeing the mix of people who went there all ages, stages and cultures I loved it!

Went out for Blue Magic Tuesdays - music, poetry, comedy.  It was alright.

Cover was $5 (included a free drink), drinks ranged in the $5 arena, hot wings were $8.  Overall, an affordable evening.  I spent less than $20 to get in, eat and drink.

Gaby's is quite large, considering it's part of a shopping complex and looks small from the outside.  There are 2 bars and I think I saw some pool tables, but I'm not sure.  It was pretty crowded in there, I couldn't really see much.

I would suggest to hang around the bar if you're going to drink.  The few waitresses on duty are extremely busy so who knows when they'll get to you.  Not sure what other events they have throughout the week but I wouldn't mind going back again for Blue Magic Tuesdays.

Small hole in the wall spot. Very nice band that plays all types of music and in-between sets, they have a nice DJ to play music while the band is on break. They serve drinks which are seemingly pretty weak because after having a pretty heavy drinking session with the girls, I left SOBER...LOL!!! They have pool tables inside and a pretty pathetic VIP...LOL!! Which is simply a velvet sofa roped off so basically when you sit on the VIP sofa the rope will be touching your chin it's that small! Gabby's is a local spot where the people love to dance and have a good time without feeling as if you're in a night club. One negative is that you will leave here smelling pretty bad! Like you smoked 10 packs of cigarettes in a tiny, unventilated closet!

This has become a staple of my outings lately since the music is awesome & the drinks are cheap. Not very smoky which is good. The crowd is mixed..friendly though. Bartenders do take awhile to get your order but I don't complain since its cheap.
