Gary's Place

We are regulars here and love it. We have been going for about 9 months now. I can only speak for the breakfasts, which are bomb! The portions are good size and the same cute waitresses are always there on Saturdays. They have a cool bar and good bloody marys. I always get the eggs benedict. My wife gets the corned beef hash and eggs. We want to try the big salad bar if we ever go for lunch. Gary's is a cool little spot for breakfast!

I only have 1 thing to say about Gary's Place.. DO NOT GO THERE! unless you want TERRIBLE service,and have nothing but time on your hands and like mediocre food..and when you complain that you are not paying a tip because your food was 2 hrs to late the police would be called...  (we had a party of 13) as the owner server who knows told me"we are a small kitchen and can not move that fast"   If i could post a negative star to this place I would...

Perhaps my expectations were too high but when I PAY for service I expect decent service.  I don't think that's too much to ask.  My wife and I went in for breakfast. Gary's Place was moderately busy but not overwhelmed. We found a table and waited for a pretty fair amount of time before our waitress (with a black-eye) shows up to take our order.  The food shows up in a reasonably fast and that's the last we see of our server.  No drink refills, no checking on us. nothing.  The food wasn't worth a second trip and the service wasn't either.  Would have been better going to Denny's.  Won't be going back.
