  I liked the atmosphere of the place. It seems like they have a lot of great drink specials and food specials that are advertised all over the place. Although she was really nice and always brought me a new drink when I needed it, my waitress really didn't know anything about the specials or the prices when asked. Hopefully she was just new. They have TVs, pool tables, and dart boards. Definitely want to come back.

  First visit tonight with a group of about 27, had a great time.  We hadn't seen each other in years and wanted someplace we could meet to eat, hang out and talk.  It was perfect. First, the service was great!  Very friendly, we felt welcome from the start.  The waitresses helped us arrange the tables.  The food was great. I had the Black and Blue burger and onion rings.  Decent beer selection.  Would like to see some more local beer on tap.  Overall, great time, nice place for a group.  Bears game on too, to bad we lost.

  I've been back here a couple of times and I'm more and more impressed. Their stuffed sandwich is fantastic! Everything that was in my original review, still applies, although they did seem to fix the temperature control in the bathrooms!

  Very clean, the owner came out and introduced him self. Great deals on food and yummy mixed drinks, they have two pool tables I think two darts board. I will become a regular

  Gene's Place is very clean, has ample seating, several huge TVs with various sports event playing, and a great food and drink selection. There's two pool tables and a dart board. The prices are reasonable, and there are daily half-off specials that are worth checking out. This is a great low-key place to enjoy a beer and some wings with friends.
