We stopped in for appetizers and wine before seeing Bill Cosby at the Peace Center. We got there just in time - in between the two shows - so the place was relatively empty. (Once the first show let out they were packed!) We sat outside for a little while and enjoyed the live music from a reception in the pavilion below, along with some great wine and crab cakes with fried onions and warm bacon potato salad. After it became a little chilly to be outside, we went inside to a high top and enjoyed the ambiance that is reminiscent of a big city lounge. All of the employees, including our server, were extremely friendly and helpful. The food prices are a bit high, and although we didn't try dessert, we noticed the ones being delivered to other tables were quite small, though the tapas/appetizer servings were large enough to share if you're not looking to eat large. Overall, we enjoyed it, and it's very nice to have such a beautiful place to go before and after shows that really reflects the class and sophistication of the Peace Center and our wonderful city.
