Mac's Speed Shop

Came for lunch while visiting friends in Greenville.  The two standout things from our visit were the beer paddle (love to see those anywhere, especially with this extensive of a selection), and the catfish taco.  One of the best fish tacos I've ever had, and if you knew me, you'd know that's saying something!  My husband got the combo platter, and said it was pretty good.  But we've had better barbecue and mac and cheese in Cleveland, so I imagine there are much better options for those things in SC.

Well I gave Mac's another chance and they seem to have picked up the pace.

This seemed to be just another Greenville sports bar BUT the Friday happy hour gets it 4 stars.  Cheap and STRONG mixed drinks - 2-3$ appetizers.  You really can't go wrong.  Also encouraged beer sampling.

Wife and I went here after work and left full and with a nice buzz for under 20$.

I would go back-
