I was incredibly disappointed with Gerdhardts.  I was really looking forward to finally coming here.  We were there early so we were the only people in there to start.  The service was friendly but not prompt.  The atmosphere was spot on.  I had the schnitzel and it just wasn't all that.  I got then "lite" plate and it definitely was.  Being that it was half, even the full plate wouldn't be worth the price.  The potato salad was the saving grace of the meal and the third star.  My wife did enjoy the salad with the house dressing.  The pretzel she had was incredibly dry and was crunchy in some parts.  The horseradish cheese it comes with was just plain concession stand cheese.  We finished the meal with the strudel which was the final disappointment.  Nobody can say that strudel is bad but I can't say I would get it again.  Overall, I wouldn't come back on my own but I wouldn't complain too much if others wanted to go again.  Hoping that my second trip would sway me.  The place is over priced for what you get.

Very personable staff.  Gerhardt himself is the host and assists with other duties as well.  Dresses in traditional Lederhosen!

Wife and I had never been here before.  We tried the "Gerhardt's German Feast" which comes with three choices of meat and two sides, dessert and a role.  All for 19.95.  Good if you want to have a variety and experience the food for the first time.  Otherwise, we think it was a ton of food, and we will order one of the regular menu items now that we have a better idea of what we specifically enjoy.

We tried:  Wienerschnitzel (it was okay), Sauerbraten (good dish to order), Knackwurst (very good with regular mustard), Pfefferwurst (blood sausage good to try but I don't know yet if I will order again), Kassler Ripchen (somewhat like ham steak decent but might not be as good as the Sauerbraten), Spaetzle (dry so make sure to say yes to the gravy), Kartoffel Salat (German potato salad was very good and recommend), Bierstube Kraut (Kraut is Kraut you like or you don't, make sure to use the mustard), and for dessert Apfel Strudel (good), Blackforest cake (not like what we have had before maybe just a different interpretation with the recipe).

Tuesday is half-price BEER NIGHT!  GERMAN imported beers, meaning real beer, as well as a good wine list and other delicious drinks.

Overall good place for dinner for a couple or a family, cozy Germanic environment with excellent service from both the waitress as well as Gerhardt.

I LOVE eating here. I don't make it that way very often, but when i do it's Gerhardt's for sure! This is a quaint little German place with a cool ambience and the staff is excellent. Annalee is my favorite.

Tuesday night is half price beer night and i will occasionally order a liter of something good Gerhardt has on tap. The portions are huge, the mustard is spicy, and I'm getting hungry thinking about it. That's got to be a good thing! Check it out! You won't be disappointed.
