Sonka Irish Pub

No better draught Craft Beer selection anywhere in Terre Haute (and probably for 50 miles in any direction, I'd reckon).  The food here is decent, but I go for the beer-- the selection & quality alone is worth 5 stars.  Much of it is Indiana craft, but they have plenty of regional greats from Michigan & Wisconsin as well, (along with the required 2-3 'crap taps', it IS a college town).  There are 2 halves to Sonka's to choose from when sitting (but if there's room at the bar, it's the place to be)-- both areas are charming in their own way.  In an old-school bar that is frequented by both locals & college students, somehow the atmosphere is always low-key & just right.

Great pub! Fantastic beer selection but it is an almost beer only bar. They do carry some wine and hard cider.
The food is amazing! I love the Irish Nachos with Chicken.
The best part is Thursday Night Trivia with Sam! Great fun! Starts at 7:30p but it fills up fast. Get there early! Win prizes and have fun!

Great food, great beer, great atmosphere, poor service.
