When you drive by you almost wouldn't notice the place, and upon walking inside the first thing I noticed was that none of the salt, pepper, or Parmesan cheese was filled and about half the tables didn't have silverware. Outside a sign advertises a $5.99 buffet, however inside no buffet was set out. The menu was small but what you would expect at a pizza place. We ordered the chicken Stromboli and a special calzone. The server seemed extremely inexperienced and was wearing a baggy shirt that came to his knees, very baggy pants, and a fitted cap to cover his unkempt hair. I'm not going to lie all things considered I was vet uneasy about the food. My silverware was wrapped in a napkin that was dirty and had pizza sauce on it so we got up and found a table that had some silverware. When they brought out the food the waitress couldn't tell them apart. Yes I said waitress because at some point our waiter disappeared without a word and she took over. After looking at our food we realized they had messed up one of the orders so they took it back and left mine. I'm not the type to eat when others don't have their food so mine sat there while we waited 10 min for his. When the food FINALLY came out it looked pretty appetizing, and didn't smell bad. All in all the food was decent, not impressive, and certainly nothing I would make a trip out of the way for, but the entirety of the visit was sorely disappointing, thusly I give Giovannis 2 stars.
