Umi Grill Sushi Bar and Japanese Restaurant

Delicious food and great atmosphere.  Good service even though they were busy.  My only note is that it is noisy: all hard surfaces make for a lot of reflection.  

I suggested they put some sound absorbing materials up to quiet things down.  We couldn't hear the music until the place had emptied out.

Highly recommended.

The chef is top notch and also very friendly. My family are regulars here even before they relocated. We pretty much tried evrything they have on the menu and never a disappointment.

Terre Haute, IN, home to a Japanese restaurant as good as a 5-star on any coast?  TRUE!   Great ambience, excellent detail in service from Erin as well as the host/hostess, and beautifully presented, elegantly plated creations from a vast & varied menu, all much enjoyed, combined for an amazing experience.  Cannot wait until we return!
