Gerst Bavarian Haus

My family has German roots and it's cool to have an authentic German restaurant right here in Evansville. But you don't need to have German blood to enjoy the food. If you have a big group or don't know what to get, or both, I suggest sharing a combination dinner. It's a nice way to get a little taste of everything. And don't forget the potato pancakes!

This place is really great during festivals and especially Oktoberfest.  Its in a part of town that has little more going on then others and the food is more authentic then most places I've been throughout the country.  Its great for families cause mom and dad can grab a beer.
