Wife ordered gluten-free crust for health reasons and the waitress neglected to take the proper order and brought out a crust that contained gluten which we realized after a slice. The standard of service here requires a customer to question the quality and attention that the management places on its work. The manager/owner came out with a weak apology and said that the "salad was on them". If anyone is gluten-sensitive be very cautious going to this establishment.
Review Source:5 stars aren't enough, the food is absolutely divine!  We went on a Wednesday, my Mum, my husband, and I.  Pulled in to a little restaurant off the road, looks like a little old house, but the wonderfully prepared, absolutely fresh food was some of the best we have ever eaten anywhere, including Italy! These people know food and know how to prepare garden to table. We sat outside on the patio overlooking the organic garden where many of the veggies and herbs were picked a short time ago, and between the three of us we ordered the tomato basil soup, ravioli, stone fired pizza, and the stuffed portobello mushroom panini.  They make EVERYTHING on site-even the ravioli was hand made! The tomato basil soup was wonderful, piping hot, filled with flavor; the pizza was the best we have had anywhere in the world, or at least in the 51 countries we have eaten in! I had to trade a whole slice of this marvelous thin crust pizza for one of my husband's ravioli in cream sauce...yum! The portobello panini was luscious, stuffed with veggies and topped with cheese.  We finished our afternoon long luncheon with one of the incredible cookies filled with nuts and chocolate.  Service was outstanding, friendly, and very  relaxed. We never felt rushed even though we quite made ourselves comfortable and stayed over an hour. We will definitely be eating again at this gem of a restaurant.
Review Source:HIM:
Having moved to the foothills of upstate South Carolina less than a year ago from a foodie city in North Carolina, I have been searching for a local restaurant that serves creatively prepared fresh local ingredients in a cool atmosphere. Until tonight, that search has been rather disappointing. Giardini is a fantastic restaurant. Wonderfully prepared fresh and local food served in an old house transformed into a contemporary and romantic space. This is a do not miss restaurant.

Consider yourself lucky if you have had one perfectly cooked scallop in your life. Â If you haven't had one yet, then Giardini is a must. What a treat! Â I loved everything. Â The food, the wine, the service, the atmosphere...all made for a lovely evening. Â I definitely
recommend this place.
