I ordered the Uncle Kracker sandwich, which Is chicken cutlet and rab sauted in garlic and olive oil served in a roll. Â Sounds good right? Â Not! Â This was by far the worst sandwich I have ever eaten. Â The chicken, which did not even look like chicken, was paper thin and appeared to be beading only. Â There was hardly any "chicken" in the sandwich that I sent it back. Â No apology and the waitress asked if I wanted another one. Â For $9.00 I expected a tasty sandwich. I could not believe the cook had the nerve to try and serve that to a customer, so why would I want them to make a replacement one. Â This was my first time eating there and will NOT be returning anytime soon.
Review Source:Some of the food is very good, however since they opened the quality has definitely decreased. AND take it from a  former employee... the owners are thieves! They were stealing money from me, and who knows what else they were up to. They might serve good food but behind the scenes, they are not good people.
Review Source:The food is way better than you would expect when you see it/walk in. Yes, you can order pizza and it is very good; but the italian entrees are very good also. It is a very reasonable BYOB, and  if you are into the company you are with and the food you are going to eat --- it is a good place to go. Service does slow down a bit when it gets busy, but is always friendly.
Review Source:We have been coming to brigantine for a few years now and Goochie Brothers is the best pizza on the island. They have very good specialty pizzas and salads. I was not a particular fan of the pasta dishes, but overall it's a great restaurant. Also, it's a BYOB where you don't get charged a ridiculous "opening fee.". Â Service is always friendly, but since it has a relatively small dining area, you may have to wait a while. Will definitely keep going back.
Review Source:Good is better than average. For those thinking fine Italian dining WRONG this is a typical pizza shop in a strip mall. Oh so slow, I called ahead ordered 1 Cheese Steak they told me 30 minutes yet an hour later there I stood waiting along with several others for our orders. While I waited I heard a couple tell the waitress it had been an hour and half and they still did not have thier good.
One young man really did nothing a young girl busy on the phone taking orders and he would only put callers on hold for long waits to place orders. I suppose customers time is not important or really did not matter to him.
This was a Wednesday night about 7:30 pm.
Probably better off to find another pizza shop promoting as.an Italian restaurant.
Went with friends and it was awesome.  My dinner special was $11 for shrimp linguine a la vodka, which was the perfect size with 5 large shrimp, the bread was awesome and the service great.  Would definitely  go again.
One complaint, I agree with the other poster having a door that leads to  the kitchen was kind of unnerving in the bathroom.  Think I set a record for quickest bathroom usage.
this is obviously a pizza place, but so much more than average. I am a year round resident of Brigantine and this is one of my favorite places to eat. You are given free bruschetta upon arrival, and it is yummy. If you get there before 4 you can get lunch portions of their entrees for only $10, which comes with a salad. Their prices are reasonable. The lunch/ pizzeria items range from $7-12 and the entrees are upwards to $20 or even close to $30 if you get a seafood dish. But it is all quality! I have never had bad service and do not mind the small bathroom b/c it is a small place. If you're looking for something fancier I'd suggest going off island, but for a quick dinner that's better than your average pizza place, I give Goochie's an A plus.
Review Source:Went to Goochie Bros for a Friday night date and was so disappointed.
This is essentially a pizza shop with tables set up. Â The bruschetta was nice but the rolls with dipping olive oil was so gross. Â The olive oil was bitter and they had dried Italian seasoning in it which had little flavor.
I was thinking something simple so I ordered the turkey burger and my bf ordered the penne with sausage. Â He was brought a salad, which we shared. Â After we finished it, 10 minutes passed and they brought us another salad. Â We told them we already had the salad and they asked if we wanted another. Â No thanks. Â Our meal finally got to the table, but they had the wrong dish for my bf. Â The kitchen had screwed up I guess. Â The waitress had strong words with the cook. Â I know this because I saw the whole thing go down. Â Instead of copping to messing up the order she just said that the kitchen was busy and things were taking too long. Â Why lie to us? Â She was clearly upset because she kept slamming things on our table instead of taking out her frustration with the kitchen. Â It was very uncomfortable.
I ate my burger while my boyfriend waited. Â My meal was so so. Â The burger was dry and not much flavor. Â After I finished, we waited for another 20 minutes and finally we got the right pasta dish. Â Then I sat there while watching my boyfriend eat. Â Not the point of date night.
You would think that with such a bad experience, they would have compensated in some way, but no. Â Their prices for dinner were not that reasonable either. Â
Also, their bathroom was awful. Â It was hot in there and there were flies. Â It had two doors, one to the kitchen and one to the restaurant. Â When I was in there, I kept worrying that someone was going to walk in on me.
I have sworn to never go back here. Â This island is not a very big place, but I am sure there has to be better options with better service.
Friendly service, great price, fresh ingredients - this place is now my favorite lunch spot in Brigantine. We were greeted with a smile and the complimentary (and delicious) bruschetta. Two of us enjoyed their huge entree salads: spinach and greek. My husband had the eggplant parmigiana over penne. The pasta was al dente and Mr. Chiffon reports that the eggplant was very good. We'll be back.
Review Source:Go here for lunch!! Â Greeted by the manager, friendly wait staff, very fast service.
They give you a free appetizer of bruschetta, which was pretty good. Â Then they brought out rolls, which were nice and hot. Â Salad was middle of the road. Â My lunch compatriot and I had chicken and shrimp parmigiana respectively. Â Delicious! Â The pasta was perfectly al dente, and just the right size. Â Only $10 each for all that! Â
I'll be a regular here.
