Good Times

This place closed, and was never a dance club with a DJ. Other reviewer must have been confused.

This may get flagged because it's not a real review.. but I could NOT find this place.. AND people in the area have told me it closed down a few years ago (although the woman who told me was slightly creepy so I might have fallen into a black hole or something). So either Cheryl G. went to a different place.. or this is an "underground" club where only the cool kids get to go with the right password. Also, calling the number listed, ended up in this conversation.

Woman: Hello?
Dish: Hi.. is this Good Times?
Woman: What?
Dish: Good Times.. the club?
Woman: Are you looking for  (insert name here)?Good times what?
Dish: Uh.. no. I was looking for err.. a club. No. No. Okay bye.

I went here this past July and LOVED IT!  I'd definitely come back here to party if I'm in the area.  

I haven't been to the restaurant so my review is soley on the nightlife piece of this venue.  

We went here on a Sat. night (about 45 min before closing) and must say that his place is a DIVE.  But, it had a decent sized dance floor and the DJ rocked it.  It's more of a hip hop top 40 crowd.  Pretty much what they play on the radio and then some.  There are more guys than girls here but I was with a group of friends so it didn't matter. Oh! cover charge = FREE! We owned the dance floor and the DJ made it a point to keep us there and played good dance music.  He even took our requests and was able to mix them into whatever he was playing. Unlike other DJ's that have a hard time with that.  There aren't that many dance places to go out around here.  There's the Andrea, Paddy's, Flacos, and of course the local casinos.

The drinks were cheap and the crowd was very fun and laid back.  No attitudes here.  The restrooms were also clean which is a plus.  Especially at the end of the night when they usually get gross.

Good times had by all at this place!
