Y-Knot Lounge

I like this place, very low key and small. Friendly bar tenders, calling out to everyone leaving, felt like Cheers a little bit. Word to the wise do not come in here just to use the bathroom, they really hate that! Real cheap beers. A nice break from the crowds and music so loud you can't talk. Nice conversation. Maybe a good stop for pre-gaming, they always have crazy weird shot specials posted on the wall. I usually stop in for at least a few shots while bar hoping in New London : )

We had just moved to New London and hadn't received our furniture yet so we wanted to get out and watch the National Championship game (lsu vs. bama).  Every where was closed but we found Y-not was open and decided to try it because it was empty and had TV's.  The bartender Karen was super nice and cooked us a really great bacon, mushroom , cheeseburger, and a good pepperoni, jalapeño pizza.  For bar food it was excellent.  She was very nice as well as the multiple regulars who stopped by.  They all spoke to us at least briefly and were very welcoming.  We will definitely head back when it's busy to see how it is.

As bars go this seems like a place that would be a lot of fun no matter what is going on has a jukebox and bar tender was was giving the cute girls cash to play music on a Sunday when it was dead so as a little down town hole in the wall seams good to me
