Louie's Bar & Grille

Closed, I don't really have an opinion on the rating. . . but yelp insists that one be given.

Just a little pub in a little town, but they have a very nice lobster stew.  Whenever I am in New London, I stop in here to enjoy a big bowl of it!

Louie's is essentially a neighborhood bar.  As a relatively new member of the neighborhood, I REALLY want to call this place 'my bar', but I can't.  I have been in there several times over the last year or so, and never made to feel like I was welcomed, just the opposite..like I am interrupting the bartender from her social time with the TRUE regulars. The food is decent enough, but hard to enjoy in that environment.  Being the stubborn person I am, I will probably make one more attempt in the near future, but Louie's is definitely running out of chances.
