Grandy's

The Huntingburg, Indiana Grandy's provided some of the worst customer service that I have seen in years. The restaurant was empty around 7:00 on a Saturday night, and we would soon learn why.

      After order and receiving most of our food, our group had noticed that the staff had messed up both tickets. Even after asking what sides we wanted, one order came out with no sides, and one was missing one side. After telling the person taking the orders that we were missing items, the person told us very rudely, that we didn't order those missing items. After a minute or so, the "manager" came out to defend his staff, reinforcing that we didn't order those items and that one thing we order came with one side instead of two we were asked for while ordering.

      Once giving up on the getting all the food we ordered, we then had a similar problem receiving the cups for our drinks. The rude order taker told us she had already brought them out. She had only brought the ones for the first of two tickets for our group.

      After dealing with the rudest people in the restaurant business that I have seen in a while, our group sat down to food ranging from tasteless, dry, and unseasoned catfish to fried chicken that was very juicy and delicious.

Overall, I will never go to this Grandy's or any Grandy's locations in the future. While the food was mostly good, the customer service (Manager and staff that pretty much calls you a liar) was atrocious. 1 star.

Pretty slow service but the food is always great. Came in around 9 one night and the guy saw me but washing dishes was a bit more important to him. After about 5 minutes he decided to come and help me. Just as he did the manager popped out of the office wanting to help, too. Like she hadn't seen me either. Like, oh hi...how can I help you.

I have worked in restaurant before and understand when it nears closing all the crap you have to do to get out at a reasonable time but you can't just look at me and ignore me.
