Big place, sat outside on patio on pleasant evening.  I liked the munchies.  Only thing didn't like is drinks in plastic cups, but that's the deal on patio.  Jack Daniels girl came by and bought a round of free drinks.  Come here and have some fun, don't take it too seriously.

I have only tried the wings but i have to give them 5 stars.  I love wings and these are some of my favorites.  Also the service was really good and that is what matters most to me.

I don't really understand all the negativity about The Greene Turtle, and I have to wonder if some people are just programmed to automatically hate franchises.  But with that said, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some decent bar food and not too crazy prices, cold drinks, and friendly wait staff.  And on weekends you can even find some decent live music, which was the case this past Friday night.  Our server was quick to keep our drinks filled, we didn't have to wait for a table, and the noise level was never so loud that we couldn't hear the acoustic performer.

On other occasions, I've been in the restaurant section and found the food to be satisfying & service quick and friendly.  Definitely try the mussels....they are YUMMY!

We have always had a positive experience coming to this restaurant .  The Fish tacos are awesome, and I always find myself ordering them every time I go.  One of the better places for wings as well- cooked correctly, crisp on the outside, and juicy on the inside.  Very reasonably priced for the amount of food, and always a very clean restaurant.  Service has always been on point.

Our first and last trip to the Green Turtle in Annapolis, MD.

We stopped for lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant was not very busy.  We were quickly seated but service after that was slowed than you would expect considering the number of people in the establishment.  I ordered the turkey burger and fries and my wife got fish tacos.

On the positive side my wife got three big fish tacos and a side of mixed greens.  It was more than she could eat on her own. We really like the decor too.  There were large flat screens everywhere playing different sporting events.

Most of the rest was negative.  The bottom of my turkey burger was burn and lacked much flavor.  The worst part was the bun.  It was stale and literally falling apart every time I touched it.  Later the manager was making his rounds and stopped at our table and asked how everything was.  I told him how stale the bun was and he said they must have been frozen and then walked away, and continued to stop at tables talking to guests.

I thought the cost was way too high compared to the quality of the food.  Also, soft drinks were $2.50 each. Not a positive experience.

We will not be returning to this location.

For the type of restaurant they are, bar and grill, I found the several times we've been there acceptable.  The food has been tasty, a little slow (but we try to go out to eat only when we're not in a hurry), ample TV sets to watch whatever game is on in HD. We don't drink alcohol in our household, so I can't review that.  We sit on the side opposite the bar and my family and I enjoy the place very much.

    LONG RANT BELOW:

You know, I am starting to believe that the universe is subtly trying to tell me to stay as far away from the Green Turtle as possible, because it literally doesn't matter which location I go to, the service is bad.

Case in point, this past Saturday night, the bestie and myself leave the mall and head across the street for food. Everything is packed and the Green turtle is the only place with a decent wait time. I am not thrilled and am anxiously counting down our 15-20 minute wait. "Don't do it" says the tiny voice in my head.
"I know, I know but maybe it won't be that bad." I reply back.

But  turns out my optimism was pointless because my experience was complete shit from the moment the bestie and I were seated.

Jordan (I think that was his name) lethargically saunters over to our table with the excitement of a snail having salt poured on its back.
Maybe he was tired, but for reason I envision busy Saturday nights for servers as Christmas with lots and lots of cards with enough money from the grandparents to buy what you really want.

I'm sorry but if I am going to be playing the role of someones grandparents' than  my server has to play the role of my actual likeable grandchild.
    Jordan has already displeased grandma.

So we order appetizers and our entrees at the same time.
Strike one: Our appetizers are cold. How does one send out an item that is supposed to be hot, cold?
The manager stopped by and rectified the situation because low and behold Jordan is nowhere to be found.

Strike two:Our entrees that were ordered at the same time as our appetizers have not been seen and we've been sitting here for a good thirty-five minutes after eating apps.
Within this time, Jordan has been consistently getting nothing but coal in his stocking because since we've been seated, we have only seen him all of once.
I should clarify that we've seen him all of once at our table, but we've seen him a ton at other patron's tables and chatting up the other servers.

Food finally arrives and it's more than disappointing.
My "hot" sandwich was mushy, and the bread felt like it was heated in the microwave for thirty seconds. The bestie took one bite and pushed their plate to the side.
By this point, our cups have been empty for almost an hour with no refills and Jordan is still nowhere to be found.
The manager stops by to check up on us and we inform him of the situation. As he is off to get me a refill, Jordan magically arrives once again with the same amount of excitement as before, and asks "How's everything? Can I get you anything else?"

The bestie looks at me as I look at Jordan. "The food was terrible, and we wanted refills about an hour ago, but no worries your manager doing that part of your job."

His expression is blank. and he simply say "Oh okay
    OH okay?!!!!
The manager apologizes profusely and comps our bill.

I swear by all that is holy and make believe, I will never eat at a Green Turtle again.
The only reason this place even gets a two star is because of the manager being helpful.
If you ever have to choose between and Green Turtle and your moms disgusting tuna casserole, I highly recommend the casserole.

Went here for lunch today and it was miserable! Both of our appetizers came out at the same time as our entrees. The loaded waffle fries were mushy and had little flavor. I got the chicken ceaser and it was terrible. The chicken was completely flavorless, I doubt the "chef" and I use that term lightly, even used salt and pepper, the ceaser dressing had the distinct flavor of nothing, some of the croutons were stale and not crunchy, and I found pieces of wilted lettuce. The only redeeming quality was the availability of a cider on draft and the bartender Jim was awesome and on the ball. Green Turtle can thank him alone for the second star, otherwise they would get 1.

I have to give this place 4 stars for friendliness, cleanliness and overall effort to make it a good experience.

This is a new restaurant in town (only a month old) and it had just undergone a complete menu change along with a couple of other changes. Couple that with a busy night because it was an oasis with air conditioning after a huge storm left thousands without power and they deserve an A+.

I went there for a Happy Hour social get together with people from my Rotary Club and they had this great back room ready for us to party down.  The manager (Tom) was falling all over himself to make sure everything was OK and the waitress (Amanda) was kept hopping.

The appetizers were not all that wonderful but, hey, it's bar food and it did what it was supposed to do.

Warning:  It's a sports bar and there are TVs everywhere...and I mean everywhere. On the walls over the bar, even little ones at the booths. Crazy.

If you're looking for a good place for typical bar food (burgers, etc.) this is a good place to go.
