It was a disaster coming here.
Came here for a triple date with friends in MD since I was visiting parents in PA. I have gone to other Green Turtle establishments before and had no problems. However, this one location was a rotten apple.
Service was SLOOOOOOW. Server got my drink. I closed my menu as she came up to my table and was about to order and she turns away to serve other tables before I could place a food order. She was gone for 20 mins before she came back. Food came out 45 mins (I was timing it). Food quality is poor, but then again this place is a sports bar... what can you expect?
Since we came on a Friday night, they were going to have a DJ and security was checking ID/wristbanding people. When one of them got to me, he BENT my brand new North Carolina lisence card that I had for less than a month (cost $42 to get it too). Then he had the nerve to tell me my ID was fake, which was very insulting to me considering I am an out-of-state visitor during Easter week. What a dickhead. I will be contacting management this week to report him for ruining my state issue driver's license and for the insult.
For the DJ... nobody was dancing to his music except for one random girl. If this Green Turtle wants to survive, they need to find a better DJ who doesn't change songs under a minute or play music that my junior high students would listen to.
The overall experience was terrible. My husband doesn't even want to come back to this place.
Meh, nothing out of the ordinary. Your standard menu similar to Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays....those kind of places. Service was fine, food was fine. I don't like when their DJ's come on the weekends, way too loud. Should definatly turn that down a notch. Prices are reasonable....for the most part.
