Definitely one of my favorite local spots in Frederick.  I've been here a few times and the food and coffee do not disappoint.  I usually come here for weekend brunch because they have more of a selection on their menu.  I've had the French Toast, Huevos Rancheros, and the Anything But Ordinary so far. All were very good and well worth trying, depending what  you're in the mood for. I've also tried their signature coffee drinks, such as the Clydesdale and Ninja Turtle--both were very good. I love coming here for brunch, although definitely expect to wait to be seated since they are usually busy on weekends and do not take reservations.
Review Source:Food is fine, once you get it. Really, consistently poor service. Refused to seat, claiming 45 minute wait, with several available tables and no one in line in front of us. Other times, just getting a waiter to take your order, let alone bring your check, is nearly impossible. Food is great but not worth the wait.
Review Source:Came here last night after dinner at Sumittra, the river-walk also runs behind here which is a nice semi-scenic walking path. Nola is a small cafe/bar type place with a (very loud indoor) live band, if you get there early enough you won't have to pay a cover-charge to see the live band (at least not when I went). The beer selection is pretty limited but you'll find beers like Sam Adams, Flying Dog, Corona.. their desert menu I believe may vary, but with a choice of banana pudding pie or strawberry rhubarb I took a pass. Also, the food service doesn't run all night long (I didn't try any food here) but you can order drinks all night at the bar, I think we were paying like $4 per beer. Overall the place is ok, mostly 20-30yr old hippy/hipster/nerd types hanging around and no ID check.
