My husband and I went to Jojo's for the first time yesterday.  We sat at the bar and had the bar menu and beers.  Beer selection is varied and great.  I had the pork belly tacos, which were incredible.  Hubby had the wings, which while good, could have used extra sauce.  Service was wonderful and bartender was very friendly and helpful.  The bar is very cool and really liked the atmosphere.  And the bathrooms were very clean and had three separate stalls, which were totally private and enclosed.  Will definitely be back.

What a bizarre experience.  This was my family's 5th or 6th visit to JoJo's and all previous visits were great.  This visit was bizarre and unsettling.  When our food arrived, my husband's crab cakes and sides were just fine (small), but fine.  I ordered the cold turkey sandwich with fries.  Both were cold - but tasty.  Our daughter ordered the salmon.  The salmon was cooked unevenly, warm spots and uncooked spots.  The risotto was cold and uncooked, not even close to al dente.  We alerted our server about the fish and side dish and she offered to replace it.  JoJo walked passed our table several times but never came over to find out first hand what was wrong.  The table next to us let us know their dishes were also cold.  After some time, JoJo brought the replacement dish to our daughter, served the dish with a bad attitude and said:  "we put the salsa on the side, so it wouldn't make this piece of fish cold".  I let her know the previous piece of fish was cooked unevenly, not made cold by the mango salsa.  She returned my comment with a sneer.  Well, the replacement piece of fish was overcooked and the risotto was still the same.  I wonder if the kitchen is partially cooking food and warming up side dishes in a microwave.  There seems to be timing and heating issues in the kitchen.  Reading previous reviews of dining experiences gone wrong, the overarching theme is:  JoJo's bad attitude and cold or under cooked food.  I don't understand.  We were not unpleasant about the under cooked dish, sometimes things don't go right.  Big deal, fix it with a smile and go on. We will take our dining-out dollars to the next Bistro and hope the proprietor appreciates our patronage.

My husband and I went here tonight to finish out Frederick's beer week.  I was hesitant to go back after the experience we had last time but my husband really wanted to go since DuClaw was taking over the taps.  We should have stayed home. We each got a beer and decided we wanted to order some food.  It took 30 min to get a burger and a cold turkey sandwich.  When we asked the bartender to check on our food because it had been 25 min (at that point), she told us that the kitchen was busy, they had a full restaurant on the other side (we were on the bar side) and when our food was done it would come out.  We had obviously been dismissed.
Our food came out 5 min later.  It lacked flavor, pretty plain in general. No one came to check on us or see if we needed anything.  We asked to speak to a manager simply because this was the second time we had been in and had a bad experience.  A curly haired woman came over and spoke to us.  Told us our waitress/bartender should have checked on our food.  When my husband said something about we had come back after a bad experience last time, she said "You are those people that posted on our facebook page" and then proceeded to tell us that their kitchen was very busy.  Dismissed yet again.
There are many other GREAT restaurants in downtown Frederick (Brewer's Alley, Isabellas, Cacique, Acacia).  I would go there instead.  Don't give your money to these people who obviously don't know anything about how to treat a customer.
