Wow... Add another "soon to close" for this prime pinnacle spot.
Mr Grub - your place may work off dickson , but college bars don't work in this area. We are a better clientele. Why do you think all successful places have hours and they stick to them?
- wont run a tab unless you have a credit card ?
- close whenever you feel like it ? Monday the 8th closed at 9:38 ???
- managers/ maybe owners drunk and around bar
- rude and SLOW service
- and geez cook a burger to a proper temp ... Well done is not worth chewing
This area will support a properly run place but not one that you can't count on from one day to next
I've visited a few times for lunch, dinner and hanging at the bar. Â It's a sports bar type establishment.
They have a rather large dining area and bar area. Â The atmosphere is definitely casual, but ranges from shorts and sandals to people wearing slacks and dress shirts. Â There's a number of televisions around the entire place.
The food is mostly like burgers and sandwiches/wraps but they do have some dinner plates as well. Â The quality has been solid for the type of food, we're not talking fru-fru fine dining here. Â It's also been consistent on each visit.
The service has been good too. Â The place definitely gets busy at times and they try hard to keep up with it. Â It's common to find large groups at tables like families or ball teams.
I'll definitely go back for more.
Awesome food, but service was awful. It reached comedic proportions. Waitress grabbed a drink out of a customer's hand while he was sipping on it so she could refill it. Refills were bizarre- brought in drinking cups, forgotten types of drinks, cups taken away from tables to be refilled even though there was some still available in pitchers/cups. Drinks refilled when not empty/low enough. Dishes were not removed from table. Placing food on the table was brushing customer's faces. Weird weird service. Type of thing you expect from a movie, not in real life. Again, food was fantastic, service wasn't.
