This place is okay. Mostly for the atmosphere. I'm from so cal and so the food here is far from Mexican...I would describe it as okay tex mex. I ordered a salad and it sucked.
Their margaritas are what they are known for and usually they make me sick... the chips are good. The fish tacos are good...but overall if I had another option I'd definitely take it!
I grew up in northern Indiana, and absolutely love Hacienda. Â I will admit, their menu as a whole is not stellar, and the food is less authentic and more chain Tex-Mex. Â But I'm not looking to compare this place with a meal I had in Cabo, nor do I expect to be wowed like a dish I would have from Adobo grill in Indianapolis. Â What I'm looking for is cheap, local Tex-Mex, and mountains of chips with salsa and ranch! Â
Aside from the chips, other highlights include the wet burritos and the chimichanga. Â Everything else is so-so.
If you're unsure, I recommend going during lunch to take advantage of their cheap specials.
