Half Penny Pub

Eddie the owner is a great guy. The only traditional Irish Pub left in Bay Shore. Bartenders are great especially the bald headed Irish guy. Want a guiness? They sell a ton of it. Join their 100 pint club.

Decent atmosphere, not the nicest place though

Wondered in here in search of a beer and a burger. Got 1 of them. the better one- beer. the bartender- approx my age and but prob in a pre arraigned Suffolk County relationship (the type that starts in HS and ends at age 20 with a kid and free tickets from 102.3 to see RUSH at Nassau Coliseum) We spoke at length about Iphone aps as the guy at the corner with a mug of Blue Point shot eyes at me to remind me that she was his cure from loneliness, and that i best finish my Red Wagon ale and catch the ferry if I know whats good for me.

Plus the only food option here is that shitty bar pizza with the same logo that says something like "Real NY Pizza" This is found throughout the country and probably distributed by the Beer folks and just made me sad to see it in a fairly good pizza geographical region.
