My friends and I dropped in on this place by pure accident. Â We came in on a Monday, and the place was empty except for two couples eating, and two bar goers. Â We were immediately seated. Â Our waiter was a very friendly fellow, very patient, calm. Â Very informative about their trivia night on Wednesdays. Â Kind of wish we had gone (hindsight is always 20/20). Â The place is not extremely large, well lit near the bar, not so much in the dining area. Â We ordered drinks and it did not take long. Â From where we were seated, I could watch our waiter fetch our drinks. Â Pretty glad to see he didn't do anything that seemed dangerous (as far as I could see). Â We split a pitcher and got our waters. Â Mugs were cold and clean. Â Excellent! Â As small as it is, the TV's and sounds are fantastic. Â You can watch something going on. Â The table was clean (guess, they had nothing better to do but clean the tables) and the menu, somewhat sticky but relatively clean. Â Food seemed like typical sports bar food, typical prices running from 8-11 dollars. Â I ordered myself a basket of pulled pork cheese fries (never had one of these before). Â It tasted good, very filling. Â Only thing that bothered me was the deceptive design of the food basket. Â The basket is rather shallow, but the bottom is low and thick, so it looks deeper than it really is. Â No one complained about their food, but there was nothing to rave about aside from my pulled pork cheese fries. Â
Highlight of the night: Â After the two other couples had made their exit, our waiter noticed us watching the EU soccer games. Â He offered to switch all the channels to the game and raise the volume. Â We took the offer. Â We also noticed a shuffleboard in the back of the room. Â Think we played on it for a good 20-30 minutes. Â Our waiter didn't even bother us until we had finished. Â I'd say that our experience was very pleasant and would definitely drop by again if we came around.
