Really good food. Prices are fair too.

Came in on a Friday for lunch shortly after opening. I like the decor and the staff seemed friendly. Doesn't look like they do much of a lunch business. Lots of nice large TV's for watching any number of sports.

One review mentioned pool and darts but didn't see any indication they ever had either. Bathroom was clean and well maintained.

Ordered a bbq grilled chicken sandwich. The "fair style" fries were a nice touch, but like other reviews, the food was definitely tasty, but nothing exceptional. By the way, they give you a TON of fries, some people may like that and I don't mind it if I am with a group, but since I was dining alone it seems like a bit of a waste personally it seeks like a bit of a waste since I could only eat about a third of them.

In summary, I like this place and would be interested in checking it out in the evening some time. The food I had was good, but nothing about it stood out to me. Everything else was great and has a lot of what I look for in a suburban sports bar!

Worst food ever. OK atmosphere. Bartender john is awesome, but that's the only thing this place has going for them.

I went here about an hour ago on a whim. Actually I saw the "pub" in the name and I was reeled in by that mysterious force that makes me check out anything with the name "pub" in it. Pub Lobotomy Service? Well, um, OK!.....

But seriously. It's a decent enough place. Not a pub at all mind you, but a typical suburban sports bar. Not really the type of place that I'd normally hang out in, but it's alright. Plenty of seating, seems like lots of regulars, everyone is pretty friendly. Guinness in a can ( eh? ), at $4.75.

There are plenty of big screen TVs around to watch, Keno, jukebox, pool table, patio and enough seating for about 80 I'd guess. I didn't try their food but previous reviews seem to think it's decent bar food.

I'd have no problem going back again if I were in the area.

This place is full of regulars, and it's easy to see why. The beer is cheap, the food is pretty darn good, and the TVs are plenty. I can usually find a spot at the bar even on Saturday night. The happy hour specials are the best though. Monday is $5 pizza night and Yuengling is usually about $2 for a draft. The bartender remembered me after only one visit and even remembered my drink order. All in all a great neighborhood place.

I went here after buying a gift certificate from http://restaurant.com. I'd been hesitant to go due to the mixed reviews. After visiting for myself I wish it hadn't taken me so long and can't wait to go back! They're prices are super cheap so my husband and I had to order about 7 menu items to total the mandatory $35 minimum to use the certificate. I would have changed one or two things in dishes, but I no issues with the flavor or the portions and as everyone tells me, I am a very picky eater. The menu gives such a variety. The service was good and prompt. She wasn't give us backflips and cartwheels, but the server was courteous and very good. We're very happy and wish that we'd discovered this little gem a long time ago!

Nothing wrong with this. I went during an off-time (Wednesday evening), so it wasn't super busy, but I could see how it could get that way. It's not a big place, and the parking lot is always packed on weekends. We had some beers, shared some apps, none of which were real memorable, but good standard bar fare. They have good TV positioning for the seating available, so I can see this would be a good place to go watch a game. It's a decent bar, I'd go and get a drink there no worries.

We went here with a coupon from http://restaurant.com and were pleasently surprised. There are options to play pool and darts fro free which is great to stay occupied until the food comes but that came very fast and was fresh and good. They have a very good pub salad and the Thompson burger with the black and tan onion rings was also good. The jalopeno bottle caps were very good, deep fried with a nice kick to them. The pizza twists were ok but nothing special. Unfortunalty there are only high chairs to sit at and not really a place for a compfortable meal. In all a good place for drinks or a quick meal with fast and fresh food.

I am definitely a fan! I don't understand any negative reviews. This place is run like a tight ship. I used to work in the bar business so I know what I'm talking about!

The service staff is very attentive and the beers are icy cold. The menu is non-traditional pub food - creative pub food- deep fried pickles, pretzels, blue cheese salads, sandwiches all freshly made.

They have great live music all the time with some of Columbus's best musicians. Lots of plasma tv's everywhere, too. I've been to bike night where they have given away 4-wheelers and motorcycles... that is pretty neat.

Be careful, though, if you dont get there early you wont be able to get a table. The outside patio is pretty cool, too- a bar outside... :-)

Not sure why all the bad reviews! This place has the best bar staff in town. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is great!! LOVE LOVE LOVE HP!

I read a lot of the negative reviews.
I didn't have a horrible experience.

Within 5 minutes of being inside, someone passed out, hit the floor and was drug outside. Pretty funny.

It was nice and clean with modern decor.
Lot's of flat screens.
Perfect sports bar for watching a game.

DON'T GO THERE FOR DINNER.
Go to a restaurant or other pub.
The food was all right, everyone I went with thought the same.
It was an ok place, nothing to write home about as far as food goes.

This bar is A-OK. I'm not sure why the other reviewers all had such bad experiences. I've been to Hamilton's probably 4 times and it's always been fine. I think its best to go there to watch football, but late nights on the weekends have been fun too. Nice patio when the weather's good. They have live music sometimes, but nothing amazing. The food's been pretty good and they have lots of yummy bar food choices (deep fried pretzel nuggets). Servers and bar tenders have always been pleasant and attentive. Prices are reasonable and I haven't regretted going there.

Side note: One night my boyfriend was there with a buddy and a told me that there was an altercaton where a bar fight turned into a gun getting pulled. CRAZINESS! I would have never expected anything like that to happen there, but I guess it can happen anywhere. No one got hurt, and it hasn't stopped him from going there. So, it's still A-ok.

Service is terrible here. Bartenders have an attitude as if it's an inconvenience to serve you. Had one beer and left.

Sadly, I found Hamilton's pub to be a less than mediocre little pub. An average drink selection, boring food and lackluster service will not have me returning anytime soon. While there I had a BLT with fries. Country music played most of the time which sent my friend and I running for signs of the city.

This place sucks...had some great live music and the manager told them to quit...what an ass. Sure I will never be back again.
