Fado Irish Pub & Restaurant

Came here for a CYP Music Trivia Night, and had a lot of fun.  Event aside, the menu was quite impressive, and I had a tough time deciding on a meal.  I settled on the chicken quesadilla, intrigued by the notion of using boxty (an Irish potato pancake which features heavily on the menu) instead of tortillas, and it was fantastic (and a great value, with the $9 'appetizer' easily being enough food for a meal, and then some).  I'll be back to try more of the seemingly authentic Irish pub fare...

I've walked by every visit to Easton and never wandered in until last night. My co-worker and I were in the mood for something different and we guessed good when we wandered in. The beer samples were generous and the waitress was great at making recommendations. I had the corned beef and cabbage, my friend had the fish and chips. Both of us were very pleased with our meals and left room for the excellent desserts. I had the warm brownie topped with Guinness ice cream, she had the rhubarb pie. Again, both of us were happy with our choices. I could see myself coming back many, many times to enjoy food and bringing my husband along for the excellent beer selection/combinations.

Guinness is a finicky beer. Most bars abuse and pour Guinness incorrectly but Fado pours some of the best in Columbus.

Food is average, the corned beef and cabbage is great!

Only compliant would be the music. The decor in Fado gives an authentic pub experience but they have the radio top ten playing. The music doesn't match the feel of the pub.
