Old 40 Tavern

Well, maybe  I spoke too soon.  After another trip over there for dinner, I spied "prime rib sliders" on the chalkboard.  So that's what I ordered.  And I swear they were ground beef.  I spoke to the bartender (my server) and he said they were not but I have my doubts.  I've eaten enough real sliders and enough hamburger in my life that I should be able to tell the difference.

I've been here quite a few times; what a welcome addition to the Bexley area (the bar is actually in Columbus).  You can definitely see the connection to the Claremont and The Round Bar.  The food is top notch, Yelpers are correct the choices are limited, but VG.  The ambience is great and the staff is very friendly.  Nice to have a casual elbow bender bar in the neighborhood.  Keep up the good work!

The food is amazing, and the prices are great. Fast service, and a good atmosphere. Probably my favorite spot on Main.
