Meister's Bar

The Meatball Sub at Pi at Meister's Bar is so incredibly tasty!!  All of the rest of their food is really great too, but the Meatball Sub is not to be missed.

Pi is located in the back of the Grandview Heights dive-bar.  When I was there, on a Friday night the crowd was young and leaned a little hipster.    Pi is around the corner in the back and is ultra casual. The menu is spelled out on a white board and you order from the pizza cook. They serve standard pizza and sub fare, but the pièce de résistance résistance has to be their Deep Dish.  It's definitely Chicago-level good.  They take about 45-60 minutes to come out, so you can enjoy the pool tables, juke box, local taps and a great selection of craft brew bottles while you wait.  

We had a sausage deep dish.  They make it in house and it was delicious. Topped with a house-made marinara sauce that's bright and just enough spicy bite to keep it interesting.  Did I mention? The whole giant pie was only $20.  We'll be back.
