After hearing that Brazenhead had a $4 burger night, I was excited to go check out the Irish Pub in Grandview. So I stopped in last Wednesday to check out what the bar had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety in burgers that the pub had to offer, from the "Bratwurst Burger" to "Breakfast in Bed." Our food was delicious, and the serving size was very generous for the price of the meal. The bar also had a wide variety of beers both on tap and in bottles, so you could try something new every time you visit.
The inside of the bar was very interesting and unexpected from the outside. The top level of Brazenhead gives more of a restaurant feel and has a very classy appearance. However, the atmosphere downstairs is very different. When we walked downstairs the mood changed. It was a much louder, darker area, like most bars tend to be.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Brazenhead Irish Pub to friends. It has a very fun atmosphere, and the service was phenomenal. I'm not sure that I will ever become a regular, but I can guarantee I will be back for another burger night early this summer.
Their burgers on burger night have gone way up in quality/taste. In the past, whenever you ordered it "medium" it would come out done/well done but now they seem to have it down and shorter waiting time to get your burger. Sure, by 5:30pm this place is filled up, so get here early. The downstairs level is super dark and chilly. Best place is their patio, if you get here early enough. $3 house wines during happy hour. I've had the garlic burger multiple times and would say it's over hyped. Their other burgers are much better. Plus you can ask for a side of the garlic sauce of the chips :) Trust me, the dippy sauce has PLENTY of garlic in it.
